Although it cannot record continuously on longer period of times, there are suggested ways to extended the recordable times for 30 minutes up to an hour depending on ambient temperatures. Try using faster memory cards, avoid shooting with the camera hand-held, avoid leaving the camera under direct sunlight, and setting the Auto Power OFF Temp. setting to High. To do this, go to MENU → (Setup) → [Power Setting Option] → [Auto Power OFF Temp.] → High. If you have questions, please contact us at 239-245-6360.

My issue is overheating, happens very often even if flipping the display out. Takes great pictures, also very good with videos until It overheats.
