    This is my one stop Cam/Video device I've always dreamed of. That being said there is a battery issue that are on some of these devices that shows the battery as half full no matter how long you charge the device.

    Purchased for Astro Photography. New menu system has been incredible to use. Sensors low light capabilities have been complimented repeatedly by third parties observing my photos.

      I understand that battery life has been a downside for you. A possible solution is carrying an extra battery with you. You can also conserve battery life by reducing LCD brightness, turning off wi-fi and other settings that you don't necessary need while shooting.

  • Beware of open box

    So I don’t normally write a bunch of reviews but I wanted to share my experience with purchasing an open box online through the BB app. I felt comfortable doing it through BB because of the company and how big they are versus going through FB Marketplace or something like eBay as you never know what could happen. This is a $2500 camera and when I received it, everything looked fine with the exception of two items missing. The owners manual, which is not a huge deal as that can be something easy to download. This open box was missing the ac adapter power cord. No way of providing power to this camera unless I supply it. Could this be something capable of doing? Of course, but if I am paying $2500 for this camera that is listed as “excellent condition” then I am expecting that everything will be there. So I call BB support to explain what is missing and how necessary it is and they told me…you bought an open box and there is nothing that we can do. Seriously? What this tells me is that when they say it’s certified and inspected by their team at BB, then it couldn’t be further from the truth. Just note that buying an open box from BB may not be the savings that you perceive to be receiving and also know that BB will not do anything about it.

    Beautiful beautiful camera. I did tons of research for a great hybrid camera and all signs lead to the a7iv. Had it for about a month now and I couldn’t be happier. Can’t wait to upgrade the lense either! I just love all the features the A7iv offers. You won’t be disappointed!

    I have had this camera for 1 and 3 months and i have loved every minute of it. However , for professional use you risk the motherboard failing from out of nowhere making it a gamble to use . It was very embarrassing and to top it off sony has horrible customer service . To replace the motherboard is not costly but the labor is 600$ . If you are going to buy this camera definitely buy the protection .
