    Pros: Unbelievable Autofocus: The AI tracking is magic—locks onto eyes, birds, and vehicles instantly and never lets go. Insanely Fast: 30 fps burst shooting with zero viewfinder blackout and Pre-Capture means you never miss a split-second shot. 4-Axis Screen: Flipping and tilting LCD design is a game changer for low-angle landscapes and video work. Incredible Image Quality: The 33MP sensor gives you perfect detail, fantastic low-light performance, and dynamic range for editing RAW files. Dual USB-C Ports: Great feature—you can keep it powered via a portable bank while transferring photos. Cons: Pricey: A bit of a bump up from the A7 IV, but the speed and upgrades make it worth every penny. Bottom Line: Whether you shoot sports, landscapes, night skies, or video, the A7 V does literally everything at a high-end level. If you're upgrading from an older mirrorless or DSLR, the jump in performance will blow you away. Worth every penny! Still learning more with this camera everyday!

  • A solid upgrade from the a7iv for 4k60

    The Sony a7v looks a lot like the a7iv, except for the slightly thicker body in the fully articulating screen. The inside is the big difference. 4k60 footage uncropped and 4k120 with a 1.5x crop. Images and videos are clear. The new mark ii lens will need more time. As of now, it’s a good combo, but if you’ve got other lenses, just get the body.

But this iteration of the A7 delivers in ways only previously seen in their flagship! What was once reserved for the A1 has tricked down to the A7V and we’re here for it! Pair it with the right lens and you have the perfect hybrid camera!

  • Fast focus and a great upgrade from a7iii

    I upgraded from the a7iii, the low light noise handling is much better and the focus is better. However,3rd party lenses don't fare as well. My samyang lenses have great difficulty focussing.
