I carry a shoulder bag with me everywhere I go and this camera has become my go to travel companion. Slimmer and lighter than a DSLR it fits perfectly in my bag and I hardly notice I'm carrying it. At 32mp this is a great camera for travel, street and landscape. Paired with the Sony 20mm f1.8 G wide angle lens you can expect nothing less than stunning results. It does have only one card slot but it has new, built in software for retrieving images from corrupt cards. As you'll see in any review on youtube it does have the same software as the Alpha 7V. It doesn't come with a guide to the camera so be prepared to hunt down videos on Youtube.

I’ve had the Sony A7iv for awhile and it’s been fantastic. I’ve always lusted after the size of A7c, but it was just too limited. The A7cii is near perfect with its 33mp sensor, additional dials/buttons, new AI/AF, improved LCD and EVF, LUT support, internal Timelapse, auto framing, new menu system, marker display for photos, etc., all while maintaining a compact and light form factor. It took me awhile to customize all the settings and dials because I was not able to import the A7iv settings into the A7cii. The buttons feel a bit different than the A7iv (less travel), and obviously the smaller body means the grip and feel is different. But this is what I wanted when I originally bought the A7iv, and I’m glad Sony finally delivered.

I recently upgraded to a Sony a7cii and I am not disappointed. It’s easier to use and the touch screen is an amazing feature I did not know I wanted. The images look so high quality and what amazes me that it’s smaller and lighter than my Sony a6300. I recommend this camera for any level of performance.

I've had an A7III for about 5 years but it never inspired me to use it. The A7CII Solves that because of its portability and all the dails it has. Plus the images and videos coming out of this thing are unreal. It's the best camera I've ever owned.

I have been a long time Sony user and I have to say, out of all of the Sony cameras I have, this one is the one I've been grabbing the most! The small form factor makes it just that much easier to take around, throw in my sling bag, and keep on me as my every day carry camera. The 33MP Full-Frame sensor creates sharp images and allows a lot of head room for cropping if (1) you have a prime lens and couldn't get close enough to your subject, or (2) you plan to use an APS-C lens with this camera which can make this set up even SMALLER! Using APS-C lenses will bring the megapixels down to 14MP but that is still PLENTY of resolution to post on social media and for comparison, the Sony ZV-E1 only has 12 MP and that camera is comparable to this one. I bought this mostly to take on trips for more casual photos while maintaining a VERY high quality image, but I also shoot video and this will be an amazing C camera to my A and B cameras that I already own as it shoots 4K video at 10bit 4:2:2! Although this camera wont be my main professional camera that I'll take for my paid work, I still think it's more than capable to handle most workloads!

Love this camera. It is super light and easy to understand. Takes Amazing picture and videos. Definitely would recommend!

Upgraded from an A6000 camera and so far it works great. There is a learning curve and so many features to master to help get a better picture. But so far happy with the purchase and I don't see myself upgrading for a long time.

This is a fantastic camera. I was worried about the not have a middle standard EVF but after one day of photos it was completely ok with it . This camera also is the C cam and gimbal cam for my production company. It has already done auto I interiors and b roll and wide shot work on a TV series . It’s a solid camera for both photography and video work.

Great lightweight size. I upgraded from an a6700 so this is pretty much identical except full frame and updated technology. Couldn’t be happier. Quick autofocus. Great colors.

So far I am enjoying this camera. I am camera newbie but with the auto mode I look a bit skilled. I primarily video my parrot using the 4k at 30fps and it's been perfect for the need. I bought the Sony memory card to go with it and so far I've filled it and dumped it 30 times at least and not a single hiccup. The bird autofocus is very good which keeps him in focus pretty well. I was using the FX3 prior to this doing 4k 60fps but the bird autofocus in this makes me look like a skilled photographer. The FX3 is a nice camera and when they add in the AI chip it'll be hard camera to beat but for now it's back in the bag and this is my go to. I also own the A7RV but this seems to have better low light performance so I find I'm reaching for the A7CII for most situations. It's also tiny for a full frame camera but for some reason I find it easy to grip even with big hands. I seem to like to have my index finger waving around in the air ready to push the next needed button so the remaining 3 fingers seem to grip it perfectly. The photos have also been fantastic and I don't find the viewfinder or screen lacking for my needs. Auto focus is doing the work so all I need to do is make sure the framing is right. I wear glasses and the view finder still works for a quick photo to let me know quite a bit of info, including if my photo will be framed how I want. Kind of expensive but will use both full frame and apsc e-mount lenses. It's a full frame camera though so you'll get your best image with full frame lenses, or so some say. I shoot a lot in apsc mode with full frame lenses for that extra bit of zoom.

Sold my A7 IV to purchase this camera. It really ain't much of an upgrade. I returned it because it was missing the joy stick and it only has 1 SD card slot. It's not even CF Express compatible. I knew this going in, but didn't think it was gonna bother me. The A7c II is pretty much an A7 IV, with a few software upgrades and hardware downgrades.

If you don't need 10+ shots/second and a large viewfinder, this camera is fully capable of captureing almost any shot, except high speed action shots. With 33 MPixels, you can still crop, or better yet, get any of the many e-mount lenses out there to frame your picture right.

Really enjoying this camera! If your looking for a camera that shoots 4k and in 10 bit this shoots amazing quality video! Also has great autofocus features and shoots fantastic photos.! Also love all the customization you can do on the dials.

downgraded from A7RV, but was originally on the a7IV, and this is literally the baby version of the A7IV, but with AI Auto tracking, and I couldn't be happier, the RV was overkill for my needs but I did love it. this is a nice hybrid for film and photography

Amazing camera. Got it and use it for all of my work which includes videos and pictures. Best hybrid camera I’ve ever used and it comes in the body of a apsc camera

I bought this camera as a gift for my brother. He is having his first child in February to capture all the memories, and have for a long time. The size is perfect and portable, the construction looks durable to take anywhere.

Best option for a lightweight camera with excellent quality for both videos and photos. (It doesn’t compromise quality for either photos or videos!)
