I had to research for a really long time to get it to take pictures how I wanted. If you know how to take mess around with cameras then you shouldnt have a problem. If you're new to all this maybe you should start with a more simple camera.

My son took this with him to Europe, and had no troubles using it. He had been complaining about picture quality from his cell phone (Samsung S5) and felt it was worth the extra weight to carry "a real camera." Night time shots were a bit tricky, but it worked out.

And since I wanted something primarily for my YouTube channel, I didn't think twice and went ahead and bought it. I haven't explored all of this camera's functions but so far, I've been really pleased with the video and image quality. You can view my YT channel Stephanie-Elle and be the judge! :) And the fact that the lens is interchangeable is a plus. I think the possibilities with this camera are endless. If I could change one thing, it would be to allow a Rode mic to be plugged in. But other than that, it's a great camera and if you don't have the budget for a DSLR, this is the next best thing.
