My first personal camera and I am happy that i bought it. I was going for canon camera but this one caught my eye. With all the features and tiltilg display screen, its worth the money spent.

I puchased this product during the holiday seasaon. The price is lower than other sellers. So far no any issue. One time the camera was hit on the wall and it is still in good condition.

It is great camera, but I wish it had a bigger screen. My older one had a greater screen and that was very helpful.

I would rather have an ICL mirrorless camera with EVF, since bright sunlight makes the LCD difficult to see. For this reason the Sony a6000 is a much more useful product for me. But the a5000 is a great little camera for the price and excels at image quality in its price range. Its compact size and light weight make it much easier to carry and use than a DLSR of comparable price. The kit lens does fairly well too.

Even more, one day after buying the camera, I found a better price on line and within 10 minutes on the phone with Best Buy customer service I had a confirmation number for over $100 refund in order to price match. Excellent deal!
