Great novice camera

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a regular DSLR user and want to try mirror less compact camera with interchangeable lenses feature. Sony A5000, A5100, A6000 and new A6300 are top lines among same categories. Sony is famous on its sensor tech. A6000 gains lots of praises. As an early version, A5000 is not as excellent as A6000, but it is still worthy considering the price I paid. Pros: light weight; interchangeable lenses, fitting all Sony mirror less cameras; flip LCD good for selfies. Cons: If you focus something in the middle, edges of photos not focused well. Default jpeg output not that good, compared to APS-C or full frame DSLR. No viewfinder, frequently using LCD consumes lots of battery power. No individual battery charger. All in all, it is still a good option if you don't pay more.

Great camera for beginner

I absolutely love this camera but I am still learning some of its features. Overall I think it's pretty easy to figure out just need to take the time to do it!
