A little while ago,(5 years or so) I was told that all my Minolta lenses would fit the new Sony cameras. Now I need to get a very expensive mount for my new a5000 for my lens to work. What happened? Other than this, I love my new Sony, and am sure I will get some wonderful pictures with the lens that came with it!.

The resolution on this camera is crazy I've taken pictures where I can zoom in and still have a super clear resolution when I zoom in on something far away. And the rapid time it takes the pic is great I havent had one blurry photo so far even after taking moving pictures.g great investment!

I was looking for something small so I didn't have to lug my heavy DSLR around. I especially like the ability to swap out lenses, so I can potentially take just as good photos as my DSLR. The flip up "selfie" screen is also useful and one of the deciding factors for the purchase.
