it was good camera with good price. Sony alpha 5000.

fair performance on all auto modes, unimpressed with indoor quality on what should be the easiest of all to capture. I read the manual, figured out the automatic modes, shot about a hundred christmas pics & uploaded to my PC with the cable. terrible results, most were not usable or marginal at best. for me this camera is'nt going to be an option. I have had several point and shoot digital cameras that would blow this one away, I'm talking 10 year old quality 10mp cameras. went up to a $499.95 nikon D3300 DSLR & yeah its $200.00 more & i'm glad to have a usable camera now. sorry sony, my Sony Xperia Z3 verizon phone takes some incredible pictures, I made the assumption the $500.00 sony alpha A5000 would be similar, not so.

Amazing camera. It even has better image quality than my Sony DSLR! Color is so vivid. Selfie and pics under low light condition is exceptionally clear! Love my purchase!

I feel this camera will do the job for taking pictures for all our special events and needs. This is a great camera for the quality of pictures and videos taken.

I bought this as an xmas gift and she loved it. The difference in the camera & your phones camera is unreal. Excellent camera. You can even get a stand for it.

Purchased for daughter as a Christmas present, and she loves it--impressed by photo quality relative to phone camera and wireless sync to her phone (iPhone 6).

Excellent camera but I didn't notice that it doesn't have a microphone input. Still great camera for me as beginner.

Got this camera on sale and it definitely worth it - you won't have the same picture quality with any other compact cameras in price range less than $300.

Sony has made a great camera to start off a Photography career or for a beginner that wants to take family photos or make it into a hobby.

I bought this for my 12 year old daughter and it is user friendly, comes with a strap so she doesn't drop it and I even love using it.

Love the size of the Sony with the flexibility to use multiple lenses. Has all the features and great megapixels. Very happy with my purchase.

Took this camera on a trip several days after purchase. It was easy to use and to learn my way around the menus. Tried many options to enhance photos with good results. Really like the ease of taking videos, too.
