I first bought a Sony cyber-shot and thought the recovery time was to slow and read the reviews on the alpha a5000. So I put the extra money in for the a5000. But the recovery time is about the same for double the price of the camera.

This is incredibly frustrating because you need to Sony software in order to download any of the apps for specialized shooting (lime lapse, star trail, night shots, etc.)

Camera is not easy to use

Have put on auto focus and still not that great. My daughter wanted to keep it because it has wifi. If it was up to me I would exchange it.
