    I purchased this camera because I was looking for a high quality multi functional device. This camera has met my expectations. My only Con is the view screen that doesn't preform very well in daylight, it tends to wash out due to reflection. I wish I would have spent the extra money for the 6100 that offers a traditional "eye " viewfinder.

    We very much enjoyed film photography, but digital had an averse effect on that. Recently we decided to invest in a relatively high-end digital camera to begin re-educating for the digital age. This camera has enough bells and whistles that it serves that purpose admirably. We're looking forward to exploring the capabilities of this device.
