I'm very animated so when I'm blogging you can hear the "click click click" of the holders tapping on the sides of the camera. To fix that I just taped them down. I would suggest this camera for a beginner. The camera has a "smart" feature both for photos and videos which adjusts the lighting for you continuously even while videoing. I use this camera mainly for Vlogs and it is awesome. I do wish it had a better backlight function. It isn't terrible but it's not the greatest. But who's filming at night or in poor lighting? I would get this again in a heart beat.
