This is a really good camera. The detail and focus is amazing and it's a great alternative to a traditional DSLR, which are much bigger and heavier. Great!

Overall I love the quality, picture, and audio of this camera. I also love how you can smooth your skin for pictures and videos as well. The only flaw is if you are holding it up for a little bit your arm does get tired because it can feel heavy and after 15-20 min of it recording, the camera does shut down from overheating .

the flip up screen alone is a great feature. downside no mic can be attached or light

I HIGHLY recommend this camera. I was blown away at the quality, especially the kit lens! It so fun to use, very portable, and performs really well. If you're buying this as a starter camera above your phone or point-and-shoot, don't buy anything else; just do it!

This is a very portable camera, not much larger than my point and shoot even with the kit lense on. I bought an additional portrait lense to go with it, and the photo qualities are amazing, certainly good enough to make an ordinary scene look professional.

I started buying the NEX cameras (now a5100 etc) when they first came out due to their low light capabilities. This is the best yet. Built in flash is a HUGE plus. We just went to Disney World and my wife and I were amazed how many great pictures and videos this captured. I don't know if we have more than 5 bad (focus) pictures in 500+ shots. Shoots video for 30 min, but still can get hot (all NEX have had this issue). Just a great camera and worth an upgrade from my 5r.

We got this camera for my wife. She wanted something smaller than my old SLR that still had good image quality. The camera takes good photos and has a lot of features. You can make many adjustments like an SLR but half the size. One bad part is it doesn't have an optical viewfinder. It can be hard to see the screen it bright light.

easy to use, much less bulky than Nikon D3000 for example, without compromising quality. Great video quality and love the screen flip- perfect for selfie group shots and capturing candid moments with friends & family.
