I am satisfied with the quality and the value of the a6000. First photos have great resolution, indoors and out. I bought this for the large sensor. BUT, out of the box and powered up, my heart sank: With nearly every movement of the camera the LED screen went black and then came back on. I believed I might have a defective unit with broken electronic connection somewhere. It turns out that the viewfinder is not properly engineered and it has its own electronic beam streaming toward your face that blacks out the LED screen when you bring the camera anywhere in front of your face as you might normally do with no desire to utilize the viewfinder. The work around is to turn off the viewfinder. This then becomes unwieldy when you step into bright light and want the viewfinder. You have to go back into the menu and turn it on. There is no toggle to switch it on or off with one button. So this seems to be the price you have to pay to get the a6000 sensor and two kit lenses at a good price, tough not cheap. Btw, none of the several review videos I checked out online before purchase made any mention of this glaring problem which everyone must face. It also has a very noisy mechanical shutter and no silent mode. I did not return the camera because it’s compact size is a superior feature.

This Camera is great for the beginner to moderately photographer. You get the benefits of a full size DSLR in the size not of a point and shoot. This camera has great features such as WiFi and NFC. So you can snap the pictures and send them instantly to your phone or computer.

I received my Sony a6000 as an early birthday present from my wife and I love it! It is the perfect camera for a beginner like myself to learn with. It's very easy to use and it's much more compact than traditional DSLRs. You really can't beat the value of this camera!

This camera was so user friendly, yes if you are not familiar with the camera at all it will take some time but is very easy to figure out. The camera takes the most amazing photos and is worth every penny!!! BUY THIS CAMERA

I'm not a photographer but I love taking pictures, this camera did not disappoint me on my expectations. I used this camera last holidays, great pictures there's a setting for point and shot while I am still learning how to use the apperture and f/stop settings.

Great camera. Now I want to buy additional lenses. Would not hesitate to do it over.

I was skeptical at first about buying a mirrored camera because all I ever hear is dslr is the way to go. I am new to photography and mainly wanted a camera to showcase my students during athletic events. This camera doesn’t disappoint at all. Only down fall is the price and lack of availability of lenses. I recommend getting the 18mm-100mm lens as it can be used for most normal everyday shooting.

The camera takes excellent photos, dslr quality but without the bulkiness of a dslr

I consider myself more than an amateur photographer, so when it was time to upgrade from my first DSLR, I did my research. This camera has met all of my expectations in such a small body; lightweight, wifi enabled, video, and an amazing sensor. I love night time photography and that, for me, is the test of greatness; how well can the camera capture what my eye sees in little to no light? The pictures this camera captures in low light without a tripod are blowing me away. Some of my friends don't believe that I took the picture. Well I did, maybe I am getting better at framing shots but the camera does all the work. Its compact body can fit in my bag, the wifi feature makes it easy to share, the eye piece makes it feel like a camera, the battery lasts all day. What else can I say? It meets and exceeds my photo/ video needs. I look forward to a few great years with this camera until the next wave of technology comes through.

I originally had no Idea what I was getting myself into, but i knew I wanted something with incredible quality, interchangeable lenses, and a killer price point. I am extremely satisfied with this camera, its lightweight, performs excellent, and it has a really wide range!

Great light weight camera for gatherings, selfies, videos and more. There is a lot of high tech information on there I have to learn about so I can use the different effects it has.

The camera (Sony A6000) is light and small enough to place in my small travel bag. I have used a point-and-shoot camera during vacations for the last five years and felt we needed better quality pictures. My sister recommended this camera and after some researches I decided to purchase it at Best Buy during a Sony promotion. The price was right and pictures I took using this camera looked beyond fantastic. It is a keeper.

I am enjoying this camera. This is the first sony camera I have owned. I normally do not deviate from my canon products. This camera is compact, easy to use, and takes great photos. I also got an additional lense which was a nice bonus!

This is probably the best digital camera I have owned. Mirrorless is good. It’s like using the ground glass on my old view camera. Only not up side down. Small and compact, easy to carry. 24 mp sensor is great.

I absolutely love this camera. This is the first one I bought as a beginner because I wanted to get into photography as a hobby. All the automatic functions and settings give you super high quality photos with recommonded settings for that specific photo and the instructions that come with the camera really give you great insight into how you can start customizing your settings for more personalized photos. I wanted to invest in something lighter and more compact than a DSLR especially as a beginner and this definitely does not disappoint. Would highly recommend to any beginners trying to get into photography. You get high quality photos just like a DSLR for such a great price. A best buy associate told me this quality is even better than most DSLR's. Idk if that's true since I've never tried a DSLR but this camera quality makes taking photos with my phone to shame. Idt I can go back!

I've had this since Black Friday and this camera is one of the best I've worked with! You can really take some outstanding photos with minimal/no changing of any settings but has plenty of built in features/settings to adjust. I've fallen in love with this camera!

Camera takes great action shots at sporting events and captures a lot of detail.

I had a Sony A200 but after traveling to Europe this summer, I knew I needed something lighter (by the time I packed the zoom lens, macro lens, etc). I like this new one because it is mirror-less, light weight, travels easy and pictures are extremely sharp. I love it.
