My boyfriend and I spent about a month researching what type of camera we wanted and ended up deciding on the A6000. We love how portable this is due to it being mirrorless. The photos we are able to get are amazing with just the stock kit lens. They allow us as amateur photographers to test what we most we enjoy photographing so we can decide which lens is best of us to purchase next. The downfall is that the lenses are SO expensive so it's not a good budget camera, but that's okay. I love this camera and so happy I decided to go with this over the Nikon or Canon since it's so much more portable & almost as good.

I would have to say that this is the best camera that I have ever purchased it takes phenomenal photos and it still compact enough to travel with and not feel as if you have an entire suitcase to cart with you to take good photos The features on the camera are awesome and the zoom lens that it did come with in the bundle does an amazing job and taking close up and personal shots from a distance.

So easy to shoot - especially for an amateur. Depth of field is insanely amazing and ease of use is just as awesome. Nothing but high praise for the a6000!

Seems good so far. You can't get better quality for the price. You also have the option of buying adapters to use your old Canon or Minolta camera lenses.

I'm just starting out with more advanced photography (stepping up from simple point-and-shoot cameras) and considered both this camera as well as a variety of DSLR cameras. One of the biggest factors in choosing this is the overall smaller size of the camera body, which I appreciate. So far the camera is great and very comfortable to use. Looking forward to growing into more advanced photography with it!

Its small and compact which is really nice. You can take it on the go, and the battery life is pretty good if your constantly using it. Its good to have multiple batteries just in case. I do recommend getting warranty due to the fact that it does get some reoccurring issues.

If you're look for the best bang for your budget. The camera is the right one for you. Everything is comprehensive or either easy to figure out my urself.

This Sony is head and shoulders above my other cameras and does not disappoint me at all. The clarity is very clear, and the ease of use has stepped up.

Great Pictures, small and easy to hold. Only complaint movie button in awkward right corner, accidently hit it and was wondering why the shutter button would not press, because movie mode was on.

This camera is so easy to use! It take great, clear images. Almost no editing needed. The zoom lens is great for long distance shots. I was able to capture details facial expressions of my brother in the ocean while I was on our balcony on the 25th floor of our condo! It's incredible. Definitely recommend this camera.

This is a great camera that provides wonderful zoom and clear pictures. It doesn't have too much bulk and has the options for upgrading zoom lenses.

i was looking for DSLR quality is a smaller form factor, and i found it with this camera. It takes really crisp pictures and the video is amazing. I like the convenience of wifi/nfc - it makes transferring images to my phone quick and painless. It's much easier to travel with than a DSLR. I did a lot of research on comparable models and ended up choosing this due to quality and reliability.

Before this camera, all my photos of my kid were blurry! This camera takes great quality photos and has enough manual options to keep you interested as your skills develop. It is less bulky than an SLR, which means I am more inclined to take it with me places. The two lens bundle gives you plenty of options for general purpose use, plus the mount adapter will accept all sorts of old lenses!

As an extreme beginner, I had no clue whatsoever about photography. Having said that, I did want to upgrade from traditional smartphone cameras to take better portrait and landscape photos. Though it has a little bit of a learning curve, I did find it to be both fun and easy to use. I LOVE my camera! I bought it for my birthday and it was the best present I could ever give myself.

I haven't had a chance to do much more than fiddle with it a little bit. So far it is everything I expected and look forward to testing it out.

Awesome beginners camera> I got this camera as a gift couple of year ago but took time to learn it but better late then never. I love this Camera. I have completely stop using my cell phone. little bit of learning curve with all the menu items but take your time, plenty of you tube videos to help with that process. Very handy Photo transfer app directly to you cell phone. NFC support is plus. its 2020 but this camera still is amazing product. I
