I’m using this camera as my primary for my wedding and events photography. The image quality is flawless but the only issue is the battery life. Easily fixed when you carry an additional battery.

Exceptional photos, lots of optional settings for artistic touches, very lightweight and saves you around $200 to get the 2 lens kit which is a must.

This is a great camera with lots of presets to use. It takes really sharp pictures even in low light. Easy to carry around and is a great value! The best camera I’ve ever owned.

My daughter is a professional singer and for years I have struggled to get great shots at her shows and gigs. I don't want to disrupt the event with a flash, so most of the shots have been wasted. I did a lot of research and realized that it was really expensive to get a good live music camera... until I read comparisons on several sites. So, I decided to go with the A6000. The 1st day I had it she played at Copper Blues (Phoenix) and I set the camera to Superior Auto and from the back of the room, no flash, got an incredible shot. I took 600+ that evening, all of the clear, no blur. Amazing. I took the camera on vacation and in all situations it has be incredible. I highly recommend this camera.

I am very new at the world of photography, but this camera has allowed me to reach the picture quality I've always hoped for! My shots look very professional and I enjoy all of it's various features.

So far I am pleased with the quality of pictures the camera takes. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is that there is NO way to keep the tiny lens cap attached to the camera. The chance of losing it is great. The camera is nice and small, but you need an additional lens for closeup photos. I bought that too, but have not tried it yet.

This is a great camera for folks who want the capabilities of a DSLR without the bulk and weight. The camera takes excellent photos. The lenses are easily interchangeable, the quick focus is outstanding.

I didn't originally plan on purchasing this camera but i'm so glad i did. It's a great camera for beginners. Takes wonderful pictures and so easy to you if you want a basic picture.

Great quality nature photos! Easy to carry, but the strap is a bit scratchy on my neck. Easy to focus even when moving.

Bought the combo with the 55-210mm lense. I've tried several cameras (returned 2 point and shoot) because I've been trying to get a non-bulky camera that takes good photos on fast moving objects. This one does awesome! Both my daughters are dancers and I'm now able to capture images of them in motion and they are no longer a blurred mess using the shutter option. I'm still learning how to use the features but I'm quite impressed. Amazing low light capability. You have to see it to believe it. Also, I recorded my first video and it's way better than any phone. Lastly, the option to transfer photos via nfc directly to my phone works as advertised but you'll need the Sony play memories app on your phone.

Very easy to work. Had it setup and charged within a day. Photos look good via the review. Have not printed any but taking a variety of photos to practice. Its my 1st “real” camera and bought it especially for taking with me while i go on hikes and camping so many landscape shots. Planning on climbing mt killaminjaro this year

I love how small this camera is yet so powerful! I wanted the power of a DSLR but also wanted to be able to throw it in my bag for a weekend getaway. This has been easy to use and learn!

I shopped around for many weeks looking for a new camera that would have more features than my old one and take good quality pictures. The employees at Best Buy were most helpful in explaining the features of the camera and helped me with my decision that this was the right camera for me to purchase.

I did a lot of research before investing in this camera. So far it has met every expectation. Definitely a good camera for a beginner. Takes amazing pictures and has been easy to learn.

I purchased the Sony a6000 because I was having difficulty photographing my very active 4 year old and 18 month grandkids. This camera really does the job. The camera is very quick. I now usually shoot photos of my grandkids in a three shot burst. If I ever need to, the camera is capable of shooting at 11 photos in one second. I also appreciate the compact size of the Sony camera. It's much less cumbersome than full size DSLRs. The 24 megapixels allows for a great deal of editing after the photo is taken. Finally, the camera has enough bells and whistles to keep and amateur like me from getting bored. My only complaint at this point is that the kit lens do not have great F/stops.
