I've had this camera for a couple of years now and it has stood the test of time very well. Even though this camera is from 2014 it still takes great shots, the two lens it came with are great and it is easy to use. My only complaint is the battery life but I just bought another battery so I take two whenever I know I am going to be taking a lot of photos. Can't go wrong with this Sony even in 2019.

The a6000 is my first mirrorless camera and I am pleased with my choice. The tech may be old but still holds up for first time camera users. The only downside is that there is no 4k recording. The newer models have 4k recording capabilities, so if you can afford it, go with a a6100 or higher. It you want a good starter camera, the a6000 is a very good choice.

This camera was a gift to our daughter. She is an advanced photographer, but she loves the ease and convenience of this camera.

Bought it as Birthday gift for my son. He is simply loving it, very easy to understand the functions and user friendly operation.

Overall this is the best camera in this entry level. Picture quality has been pretty good, Video quality is also very good. However some minor issues is the build quality. My camera broke after one week of use I'm not sure why. My monitor won't display anymore.
