Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Alpha a6000's camera quality, ease of use, and compact size, frequently praising its lightweight design. Many also appreciate the camera's features and find it offers good value for the price. However, some users note that the battery life could be improved, and low-light performance and autofocus could be more reliable. The telephoto lens's autofocus functionality has also received some criticism.

This little guy packs a lot more punch than it looks. Relatively easy for beginners, and yet super deep for seasoned pros alike, the a6000 is a great grab-and-go camera. This package with two lenses is a super good deal, but it's not a bad thought to look into more lenses once you feel comfortable enough.

I bought this camera recently through the recommendation of the camera guru at the store. It is very easy to use and is a powerful camera. You can't beat the price!

Easy to use and carry. Great alternative to a heavy DSLR camera without compromising with the quality. Pros: Light, Compact, Beginner friendly Cons: Not much but shutter sound is bit loud, Price is a bit on the higher side

Honestly for the price this setup is awesome, lightweight, easy to use and versatile, if you're ok with a crop sensor camera it's a great camera to own. I went with the A7S because I needed more low light capabilities and full frame sensor.

I bought it on sale for $800 and it came with a free case and extra battery ($100+ if sold separately). Then it dropped to $750 and best buy gave me a price adjustment. I took the camera with me to Japan and took maybe 1000 photos and maybe an 1/2 an hour - 1 hour's worth of videos while I was there. The camera gave me no problems, it took great videos, and amazing photos. I took a few pictures of wildlife I encountered over there and thought "I should submit these to national geographic!" I wish I knew more about photography so I could use the camera to it's full potential because there are a lot of features I didn't know about or how to use properly and numbers and settings I don't quite understand

As my first e-mount system, it is the best and outshines all other brands for the size and the price and also it is a good first point and shoot camera to have. I love it!!

    Fantastic Camera, incredible pictures

After using Nikon DSLR/SLR's for 30 years, I switched to this Sony system and could not be happier. A few things I like, 11fps continuous shooting, yes 11 frames per second! Auto focus is near perfect, low light performance has been very good for me. The EVF viewfinder is awesome, so bright and clear. I'd never used one before his camera, now I wouldn't purchase a camera that doesn't have it. Lens selection is weak compared to Nikon, but what is available seems to be very good. I have the 16-50 and 55-210mm kit lenses, and the Sigma 19 mm 2.8 art, and the 30 mm 2.8 art prime lenses. I find the Sigma lenses to be fantastic lenses, and the kit lenses to be very good, with the 55-210 being the better of the 2. I'm very happy with my choice, and would never go back to the Nikon system. The Sony is an incredible choice, and I would recommend it to anyone.

I've owned this camera for about two months now. I was very impressed with how well the pictures come out. I got this mainly to take pictures of my daughter, but soon after I began to develop some-what of a hobby for photography. I was torn between getting the single 15-50mm bundle and the 55-300mm. I ended up getting the two lense bundle and I'm glad I did. The 55-300mm is great for animal or candid shots were you don't want to bother your subject.

I purchased this camera for a trip to Iceland and figured I should make the investment to capture the best memories. I am a beginner with cameras and this Sony was so user friendly and easy to figure out different settings and ways to get the best picture. I'm still learning and loving finding new features. I've used it several times since my trip and I couldnt be happier with my purchase.

I went in to the store just to look and compare a mirror less camera and a DSLR. I walked out with this beauty. It takes amazing photos. Fast shutter makes it easy to capture moving subjects. It is exactly what I asked the Best Buy associate for.

Ive had this camera 4 weeks now. I've done family photos and school senior pictures. Love the ability to manually set shooting preferences or choose automatic settings. I like the slim body and lcd screen. Shooting action shots with great speed. The pictures are crisp. I wish there was a microphone jack for video purposes. Get a hefty tripod or mono. Definitely get the bang for your buck with this one!
