This is my first DSLR CAMERA. Bought it for family trip to NYC. So far camera is meeting my expectations. Still have allot to last about all the different settings.

I got this open-box at a great price!!! Phenomenal camera, great weight, very easy to travel with. It is my first camera, great for beginners and pros who want a nice handle.

Downsized from a full size DSLR camera, wanted something a little bit more point-and-shoot. Love the size and feel of the camera and the zoom lens is amazing. The only tiny little concern I have is taking indoor pics (low light). Will keep trying!

I originally went in for a Canon camera but the sales person mentioned that the Sony camera had the same features , if not better and for a cheaper price. Picture quality is great and the camera is super simple to use. No extra things to learn.

I think that the Sony a6000 is a great camera. The controls outside are easy to use. It takes awesome pictures. It wil take sometime to learn the menu because it is difficult it has a lot of things. Overall is a great camera and I enjoy using it

I bought this camera after talking to friends and the Best Buy camera person. I was looking for a DSLR but wasn't sure what kind since my last camera was a Kodak Instamatic! I was worried about all the attachments and settings, but it came with easy to understand guides and automatic settings. I needed it for a very special vacation with my grandson in the mountains of Washington and I am so glad I got this. The pictures are fantastic and with the included 55-210 lens we were able to get great shots of the distant mountains and wildlife as well as more normal pictures of family. The pictures are so clear and sharp, I feel like a real photographer. I still have a lot to learn, but I have signed up for the workshop that Best Buy offers. All in all, one of the best purchases I have ever made.

I am still learning how to use it but even on automatic it takes great pictures. I like how compact it is and the extra lens makes it a great value. I plan to buy another for my daughter.

Was looking for a good camera to start some photography and I must say this is a bang for the buck! A no brainer. Sleek design, easy to use, great picture even if you are a beginner. Highly recommended.

I've been doing photography as a hobby for as long as I can remember. I really want to make it into a profession so I bought this camera and I must say it's amazing!! The quality of pictures are beautiful and it's easy to use!

Really happy with this camera. Love the picture quality and even though the battery life is less than what I expected it was easily fixed by getting a couple of extra batteries and a dual charger somewhere else. So, would definitely recommend.

I absolutely love Sony cameras. The quality is great for the price and it is very beginner friendly. Also, you can purchase more lenses to make it more professional. Two things I recommend with this purchase are an external mic and an external monitor. The external monitor is not needed but it helps me with sit down videos and making sure I'm in frame and in focus.

Very light to carry. Interchangeable lenses allow it to be used for lots of situations. Sensor is very sensitive allowing low light photography. I bought a high speed lens for use in low light, but the slower zoom lenses have proven to be quite adequate.

Best camera ever 2nd one I bought just like it. Go Get one hurry up.

I only wish I knew how to use the features and settings as well as most hipsters do who photograph all their meals. Good battery life, not too heavy, great photos with flash in the night time, portrait mode is nice.

Happy to find a great light weight and versitle camera for the wife

Being a beginner user, I wanted a camera that was better than my cell phone, easy to use, and one that I could add equipment to once I became a more experienced user. The Sony a6000 hits the mark on all points. I'm so happy I made this purchase.

Very light weight and the ability to swap lenses is a plus. I bought the lens kit but with some research I have found that there are better lenses. However the stock lenses take incredible pictures while you save up for better lenses.

Love this camera. It allows be to be creative with manual settings or to be fully automated. It takes fantastic pictures. Easy to transfer pictures from camera to computer or tablet or phone for sharing or posting on social media.
