Very good camera for vacations

Definitely need a fully charged spare battery for a day long trip involving number of photos and videos

She has a friend who was a photographer for Sports Illustrated (before he went back to Med School). He was impressed, so that's probably enough said but I've got a couple more comments. The camera is very fast so if you like sports or night events you are looking at the right camera. We got the zoom lens too and she was in Ireland where the Disney people have an area pretty much under control for the next Star Wars film. She had just a few seconds to take pictures from a distance and without getting caught...not a problem.

It is taking some time to get used to the zoom & the extra lense but it took some nice pictures at my daughters prom! I look forward to learn about more features on this camera to take even better pictures.
