This camera is really great. The quality of pictures is better than the DSLRs and the camera is sleeker so more comfortable to carry.

I was looking for a lightweight DSLR for a hiking trip and all reviews pointed to this one. After using it daily for two weeks while traveling, I am extremely happy with the camera, its weight, and the ease of use. The zoom lens works nicely as well.

We take as many as 1,500 photos a day on construction sites and need cameras with fast shutter speeds and very fast focus capabilities. This camera has exceeded my greatest expectations. Others are asking me what camera is taking such great photos and I have to give the Sony 6000 all the credit. Further, changing lens proved effortless and fast for taking photos from different perspectives. With the very high resolution the photos are sharp with plenty of zing.

Sony alpha 6000 takes great photos & I highly recommend this camera

I love my new camera. I got it on Black Friday and I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s a great beginner camera.

Love the camera. The only downside is that Sony still hasn’t put in an audio jack for external Mics. You have to use their mics. But the camera is light weight, stable, great in low light, and love the lenses.

I got this on sale and I waited for years to get it. Honestly even though it's the 2014 model, it still works flawlessly and is still good at what it is. It doesn't shoot 4k but that's not a big deal for me.

I’m a big fan of the quality that this camera gives. The 55mm lens makes a huge difference in my pictures and videos. The auto focus is great and it doesn’t make any noise. The only down side is Sony’s software to support some things such as remote, live view on a mobile device/computer. It’s really sucky. I also wish that This camera was compatible with the Sony Live View on a computer to see the shot before u record and take a picture. I now just use my computer monitor with an hdmi cord to view myself while recording my makeup tutorials for my YouTube channel. Other than that, If those things aren’t extremely important to u then this may be the camera for u!

Small but very powerful Pictures turn out great- colors are vivid

First of all. I and my family are novices when it comes down to photography. Our oldest daughter has the task of learning how to use this expensive baby properly. For now, as novices, we’ve discovered this camera takes some beautiful pictures. I can only imagine with some lessons just how much more beautiful the pictures will be and the many cherished memories that will be saved. I definitely recommend this camera for anyone looking to upgrade to the next level of photography.

This camera has everything needed for great photos on all levels. It is as good as my DSLR without the bulk. I love this camera.

I’ve read and seen a lot of videos about this camera and everybody agrees that is a great camera but they keep saying “for the price”; let’s face it, it’s a great camera. If you’re not a professional photographer and have to buy a $2,000 camera, your are going to enjoy this one. It’s light, feels nice to the touch and has great features.

After reading reviews and comparing this Sony with other brands and even older and newer models, we decided that the sony a6000 will be a good choice based on the options and features of the camera to take basically baby pictures and occasionally travel pictures based on the compact size and how easy is to use and setup, but after two weeks of our purchase we started to have problems with the lense, and therefore the camera stopped working on several occasions and we decided to take it back to BestBuy because we also purchased the two year camera protection, but instead of an exchange or replacement of the product Best Buy only offer to sent out the camera for repairs because the 15 days policy already expired. So this purchase was a bad experience for us at Best Buy but other than that the camera is great

I'm not to familiar with cameras but we purchase this one because of the brand and good price. Picture taken are good. There's many selection modes to use. We're still learning how properly use the modes
