Sony A6000- A good entry level Camera

I was getting the same product online with other reputed vendor with same price with lot more accessories. I choose to opt for BestBuy which paid off later. I camera is sturdy and small in size. You can carry it easily. The Kit lens are good but though not great for a beginner. Low light photo quality is good. My camera got hanged and also heat issue while I was shooting in Sports mode. I kept the camera for a while and the problem was not resolved after complete battery drained out. I returned the item to BestBuy and easily got replaced.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this camera for about 2 months now and have taken about 300 pictures with it (mostly of wildlife).This is my first camera and I still have a lot to learn about it there’s quite a bit of functions on it. Pictures seem to be pretty good and video is just as good. In my opinion this is a great starter camera.

But my husband talked me into getting this Sony and I am so thrilled that I did! Even the most beginner photographer can take professional looking photos. I take a ton of sports photos for the school and I can get incredible shots! You can't go wrong with this camera.

I had been away from photography for seven or eight years and this absolutely rekindled my love for it. I have now moved on to the a7r II, that is more for the prosumer market. Could not recommend this camera enough.

I haven't had the chance to try it out in that environment yet. I have taken pictures in the back yard of them running and it has worked great. I am coming from a point and shot so there is a learning curve to figure out this camera, but using the standard settings it has been impressive!

Great camera for my kid’s sporting events

They underperformed and were not clear at all. This camera is the “beans”. Clear photos of our team in action. They will be great for all the parents to keep for the memories. As you know, you cannot get them back!!! Thanks Best Buy and Sony.
