Camera offers both automatic features and manual features equivalent to more expensive larger cameras. It is great for different scenarios such as action shots, landscape, and portraits. Continuous shot feature is very quick and great for action shots of any sort. The smaller size is great for packing for hikes, bike rides and any outdoor activity.

The Sony 6000 camera is lightweight and simple to use. Only negative I have experienced to-date is that it is a little cumbersome when switching lenses.

I LOVE taking action shots of my kids in their various sports. I did a lot of research before deciding on the Sony Alpha A6000. I'm so happy with my decision! I am a beginner so I'm still stumbling around trying to figure out all this camera has to offer. What I've learned so far has allowed me to capture some amazing shots. This camera is stellar!

We wanted something that was more compact than a regular DSLR, but still had the ability to add telephoto, and high quality lenses. This was the best compromise. It ended up not even being a compromise, but an upgrade. This thing is fast at focusing, and taking 11 frames per second. Wow. Now if I can just figure out how to take better pictures. :-)

I bought this camera to take on a vacation trip. I am not a professional photographer by any means but the images that comes out of this camera makes me feel like I am. Clear and crisp images even in low light. I bought mine as an open box and bought the Geek Squad warranty so it came out to the same price as a new one but with a 3 year warranty.

I love the camera, specially in the intelligent auto mode, you don't need to know photography, it does it for you. Action pictures come out awesome.

Wow! This is an excellent camera! I am pretty new to photography and have a lot to learn. The extra lens really came un handy when taking pictures at the kids baseball and softball games. I won't get technical, but there is so many options, that it will take a while to learn. the picture quality is great!

I’m a beginner in some aspects, I bought this camera because has really good reviews, but when I started dealing with the he set up I realized it’s way better than I thought, and I get it, the technology it’s 6 years old but really impressed me with some of the fixtures and the quality of the pictures, one more time, you can expend thousands of dollars more and get something superior, but for the money it’s a great camera. Also very popular and lots of accessories!

Camera take great pictures and is easy to learn how it o operate!

I was looking at several high end Point and Shoot style camera's but then decided on one of these with interchangeable lenses and a larger aps chip.... it is small, light and great image quality. I shoot Raw and most of the P&S camera's don't have a raw option until you get to 700+ dollars. This is the best of both worlds really.
