Great First Impression
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hesitant to go from a DSLR to a mirrorless, but my camera was stolen - so I was looking for a replacement. Came across the Sony on a great sale from Best Buy and thought Id give it a shot. I have not had a chance to fully use it yet, but my initial impressions are great. The build quality is nice, all metal body. It is larger than I expected - but that is a good thing, coming from a DSLR. I was afraid it would be too small. My first few test images look great an compare favorably to the Nikon d5300 I had prior.

All Around Great Camera

You honestly cannot go wrong for any reason you may want a camera for. I'm not very tech savvy but it didn't take to long to figure the basics out. I am still learning and impressed with more things it can do. You will be impressed yourself if you choose this camera!

Love the picture quality

WHen she took it to college with her, we bought another. I am not completely tech savvy - so there is much more the camera can do than I know how to use yet. But am learning - for now, great and easy portraits, landscapes, and action shooting for High School sporting events.

Sony A6000

Used it a couple weeks ago to go back and forth between recording video and taking pictures while watching volleyball. Photos and video turned out great! Even thought it is my first camera, the A6000 makes up for my own deficits.
