||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the camera for the ability to take photos of objects at a greater distance than I could get with my current Nikon. I am finding a gap between the two lenses I purchased with this camera. If I use the longer distance lens, I can't get any close up pics-I am on top of them. If I use the 18-50 lens, I can't get the farther away pics I want. It isn't convenient to keep changing the lenses back and forth. Am going to research and see if i can find a lens that fits in between the two so I don't have to keep changing. I I do like the way the camera responds and handles, although I haven't tried many of the settings yet.

Simple to use

A great step up from a point and shoot

Menus are clunky but those familiar with Sony cameras will not find them too hard. The screen is bright enough to see on a sunny day and the viewfinder is easy to use as well. You'll need to buy a battery charger as the only supplied option is to charge the battery in the camera. I love the full control over all the settings, just like a full SLR!
