I was surprised how quick this camera takes pics!!!

This is the best little camera for the money you can buy. Even if they have come out with 2 new models of this A6000. Buy this unless you are a Pro. It has an excellent Sensor that is much better than any Canon T3i or T4i and so on out there. It is also half the size of those canon cameras. Buy this A6000 with the kit lens 16-50 and you will have the best vacation photos ever, even on the auto setting. Helps if you know a few things but the A6000 auto setting is pretty darn good. I have it and i have a bigger pro Sony camera and i like the A6000 a lot better whne im on vacation or traveling. Just sooooo small. The best camera in the world is the one you have with you. Buy it

Fast autofocus and good pictures. Nice compact camera with interchangeable lenses. Took it to Costa Rica with the 55-200 mm zoom lens and got some nice moving wildlife pictures. Even birds in flight were clear.

Has to be one of the best cameras out there, for the price. So worth the pick up and better than (in my opinion) the Cannon and Nikon cameras in the same price range.

I am absolutely happy with this purchase. This camera is perfect for both beginners and professionals. The supper fast shutter speed has captured some amazing shots of my puppy that I know will be treasured when he is grown up. I can not wait to take this camera to the Grand Canyon and really see what it can do.

This camera is perfect for an everyday photographer

I'm just getting into photography and it is a lot to learn and figure out with all the settings. I have not been able to figure out the WiFi and downloading pictures yet. Does not work as easy as my Nikon. I actually kind of wish I would of stayed with Nikon but at the store they persuaded me into this camera. Also the extra lens in the package is okay but really wish it was a little better, I will still need to invest in a better lens than what it came with, that was disappointing!!

Took a last minute trip to India and I'm glad I bought this camera - all the pics and videos came out better than I expected!

Having had many point and shoot cameras I realized that many pixels on the camera tells nothing about the difference between camera noise and camera sensitivity. Sensor size does it, why a phone camera can outrank a big lens point & shoot. This camera has big sensor, small relative camera size, and late model software to take out the novice factor. The relative cost of the a6000 and a good on-line manual (thanks Barnes and Noble) means you can't go wrong. Interchangeable lens means you can continue to upgrade with a functional camera body.

We purchased this camera after retiring the lower model in this series and are optimistic that we'll get some great night shots with this one. This camera came highly recommended and we're looking forward to really testing it in various setups-high speed and low light, specifically. So far it's done great in milder conditions–hoping for great things as we push it in more extreme environments!
