About 33 minute into the video the camera overheated and shut down. I have tested this about 6 times and get the same results. On the picture side everything was great but be aware of the overheating issue.

This camera claims to have the ability to transfer photos to a smart phone/tablet via WIFI. However, the "sony memories" app that you have to use for this feature DOESN'T WORK AT ALL. I got lucky to find this out ONE day before my 30 day return period expired. After reading all the reviews for the smartphone app, I learned that the app was updated over six months ago and has not worked for anyone since that update. EVERY single review since the update is a 1 Star because the WIFI photo transfer from the camera to your smartphone doesn't work. The only way to do so is to use a converter and remove the SD card from the camera to download into your smart device. I'm not saying that is very difficult but every other comparable camera on the market has the ability to conveniently transfer photos via WIFI so there's no reason to settle with the Sony that doesn't.... I'm most disappointed in Sony because their app hasn't worked in over 6 months and they haven't updated it for their customers. I returned this camera and purchase a Canon EOS M200, it was $50 more than the Sony.

Posted .Hello Kyle, I'm sorry to hear about your experience with your a6000. The PlayMemories application is not supported anymore. For more recent devices, please use Sony Imaging Edge Mobile that will allow you to remotely control the camera and transfer your pictures to your mobile device.

Not as good as I thought it would be.

In fact, it took several photos while it was out of focus. I had tio delete several pics. I have never had to do that before. I was told that this was a camera that was at the same quality as a digital SLR. My 8 year old DSLR would have taken better pics.

I spent a little over $500.00, when I went to download all the pics I took on the camera, I learned that my camera was used. It had someone else's pictures in it as well from January. I made my purchase in November. Very disappointed. Hopefully, the new one I exchange is really new this time. I only gave 1 star because it was used. Otherwise this camera is amazing.
