Great camera for beginners!

Mainly because I wanted a compact vlogging camera. A bit bulky IMO. Tends to overheat after 10 min of straight continuous video shooting. But a good camera if you want to take pictures and short videos.

We thought it would be perfect for our needs. Unfortunately after using it and taking many photographs on all different types of settings we realized we had to return it to the store. It just was not working correctly, some of the photographs seemed okay on the back of the camera but when they were enlarged they quite blurred, not sharp at all. We were also disappointed when we took it back to the store. It cost us almost $100 to return because of the restocking fee. Still in need of a camera for our needs

Good beginners camera

The camera now feels outdated by modern standards. No 4K support No webcam support (the a5100 has it) Go with the a6100, it features all of the features you'd expect nowadays.

Unfortunately, this made the camera useless for my purposes. The sales people at the Best Buy I bought it were not up to speed on the operation of the camera.

Though the clerk that recommended it had a hard time making the demo camera work fast. I am having the same problem. Their is no main instruction booklet with it only a small pamphlet. Can not seem to get it to take pictures rapidly.
