Bought this for a slam dunk Mother’s Day gift and my wife’s iPhone 11 zoomed in better than this camera. In hindsight I should’ve purchased the optional $300 lens to go with it .

Seen great things from this camera unfortunately mine was bugged right out of the box reading an error message ‘internal temp too hot allow to cool down’ and would shut off.

It maybe a great camera but it is a very old camera. The system feels out dated and it doesn't work well with Sony's webcam software (needs capture card). Its nice that you can change out the lenses, but ultimately I went with the Sony ZV1 for its ease of use.

Camera is okay for those who don’t want to customize their settings as in-depth as you would be able to do with a DSLR. I don’t enjoy the quality of pictures.

Purchased a used camera in *excellent* condition and everything was working correctly until I tried to take my photos off of it by using the micro USB connected to my laptop. The camera gets stuck on the connecting screen and I tried everything to fix it included trying multiple computers. Brought to my local store and they said it would cost to ship it to manufacturer to fix. So I went to return it and they wanted to charge me a restocking fee 15%, and then they are going to put it right back on the website to sell to someone else in this condition. Do yourself a favor and buy used camera equipment from a camera store. The associates doing these inspections are not properly trained. I did get a full refund in the end but will not purchase used items from here again.

After buying the Sony a-6000 with 16-50 mm lens i paid about $600 and now it’s been about a month and the prices dropped and is about 500 ish with another lens and I’m not able to return it and get my money back because it’s passed the 15 day return system is dumb and I spent way to much money on a product that isn’t that good and for the price I did end up buying the camera doesn’t even support 4K it’s 1080p and video itsnt that good either

I had purchased the t5i after hearing canon is the best... Lets just say the camera as in t5i is outdated... I returned the product after seeing the a6000 gives better quality of pictures and video in low light... If you are looking at the t5i 60 or 70d or 5300 or 7000 7100 do your research this product is not only better in price but newer and lighter and gives you a easy menu and very good or even better pictures... Love this camera...

There are times when I don't fell like lugging around my Sony a77 DSLR, but at the same time, I don't want to settle for the limitations of a point and shoot. The a6000 is perfect for this reason. I decided to get the body only and purchased the Sony E-Mount 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 zoom lens separately. So far, GREAT combination. Very easy to use and most importantly, it takes very clear and crisp photos. Great little camera. It's also great in indoor low-light, action, landscape, portrait... Additionally, I also purchased the 50mm 1.8 prime lens and the 20mm 2.8 prime. I love the output of these lens combinations with the a6000. To boot, if you own an A77 or another Sony Alpha DSLR SLT camera, you may want to consider in investing in the Sony A-Mount to E-Mount (LAEA4) Adapter. It costs about $350. The pros are that you can use your A-Mount lenses on an E-Mount camera, like the a6000. The cons are that a6000's 179 phase-detect points is decreased to 15 phase detect points. You still get a really nice output of photos. Overall, I would definitely recommend the a6000. I love it! LOVE IT!!!!
