For a long time i thought that my main camera manufacturer was going to be canon. After owning a canon rebel i was positive i was going to upgrade to the canon 6D but now after buying the a6000 i have almost switched over even after buying canon lenses. Now I'm looking forward to buying the A7S as my next full frame upgrade.

I have been using this camera for almost 5 years now, and this Camera is really good, light weight. what I love about this is its so easy to transfer photos to your phone. For me, it’s perfect for capturing photos!

Couldn't be happier with this camera. Super fast, great picture quality, well built. It's my go to camera for Alaskan adventures where I don't want to carry around a bulky old DSLR, but I get pictures even better than my old Nikon that I used to love. Well done Sony.

Got a kit with all stock lenses 16-55 and 55-200. First test taking stills using stock 55-200 lens. In full Auto pictures came out very good at 200mm zoom 3200 ISO. I am not a Pro, but sometimes use manual modes. Was worried on indoor shots, and stage performance shots. Way better than my a350 DSLR with 300mm 2.8 lens. I am very satisfied with this difficult test in darker environment and stage Autofocus. Exceeded my expectations. Finally a camera where I do not need a flash for indoor shots and pictures coming out with not too much noise and acceptable even for larger prints. (But who is doing prints now?)

I was pumped to get the new a6000 but I have an Olympus TG 3 waterproof camera that takes just as good pics. I also have a iPhone 6plus that beats them both on vids. I was especially disappointed after watching (and purchasing) Gary fongs vid. That shows how to use the a6000 and all of the settings that are best to use. The pics that he produces with the camera are awesome, mine are okay but nothing like his. Come to find out after watching the vid a few times he's not using the a6000 he's using the a7000 with is a full frame camera. The a6000 will never produce the photos of the a7000. The video is very misleading, as far as recommending the camera to a friend I would probably advise them to go for the full frame camera which is what I will be going to next. As far at the focus speed goes I'm not to empressed I get a lot of blur at night just shooting still shots. Maybe I got a bad camera out of the box but for sure not what I expected and especially not at the price paid

This tiny camera is amazing. Its quick auto focus is great with moving objects. I love playing with its burst mode. Sounds like a machine gun! I have been happy with the pictures I have taken AND video!

I purchased this on behalf of a graphic design student and the pictures she has taken are brilliant. It is light and comfortable to handle and store.

I am about to have a serious whine fest. Don't read it if you have a solution. I had one of the first generations of this camera and loved it. I. Considered it the best camera ever - never an issue, GREAT photos and easy to use and understand. It finally wore out and it was the easiest decision to make buying a newer version. Either I got a lemon or they've made them much less durable. I bought this camera a year ago August and it's been in the shop at least 3 times, possibly 4. It will not hold a charge, even with a super dooper, long life battery; the screen used to just go black, but they finally fixed that issue. However I spent most of this last summer without my camera. This did NOT make me happy, as I carry my camera with me everywhere. NOW, I'm in Alaska, on the trip of a lifetime and I can only take one hours worth of photos before the battery runs out. My old camera would last at least two days before I had to charge it. Being in a remote area, hiking and such, there is NO PLACE to charge up. I have missed so many of the iconic photos, much less the documentation of my amazing family in a skiff - catching crabs and shrimp, the mountain peaks, the rivers, the trees turning colors, the fish swimming upstream, the whales........how do I explain my trip to my mother? I would think that after this many times of trying to get my camera fixed - and it's never worked the whole time I've had it, that Either Sony or Best Buy would want to replace it. I'm so disappointed in the manner in which these two companies don't really back up their products. And I'm extremely disappointed in the camera itself. When I get home this week, I am going to go shopping, but you can bet it won't be a Sony camera and it won't be at Best Buy.

I absolutely love this camera! It is customizable in so many ways! I purchased a zoom lens and it works great with the camera. Super lightweight, and great for travel!

Perfect starter camera for blogging and portraits And personal use

Really good camera. Alot of features, a little high on the price but I can see why. Wanted good priced camera with EVF and this one does not disappoint. Very compact.

This is a beautiful camera,takes amazing photos but is not user friendly. Not for beginners at all. Too many options for a beginner. I bought it because its a great camera for fast moving pictures, At up to 11 shots per second it was perfect for my sons baseball games.

In short, this is a camera with DSLR Performance and Point-and-Shot size. I used to use a Canon 500D(Rebel T1i) Which gets me good picture quality but it is really painful to carry it around places. a6000 is a great compromise, it is much smaller and lighter, the i-mode is amazing, and auto-focus is lightning fast.

I got this for my Dad for Christmas. My last experience with DSLR cameras was when I purchased my Nikon D40 many years ago. This camera easily beats it in every way. The increase in megapixels, zoom, mirrorless lens technology (which is amazing by the way), etc. You have to go out of your way to take a bad picture and even then it's still pretty good. Well worth the money.

I already own 3 DSLR's and it's kind of heavy to bring every time I go to small events. I need a compact and light camera that will somehow come par with my DSLR's. And Voila! the Mirrorless Camera that was eyeing for the longest time was on sale! and with my best buy certificates that was saved up for the whole year, made this more cheaper :) What I like about this camera is it has low noise at high ISO (1,300 ISO) a 24MP resolution and lenses with image stabilization and a HDR feature! sweet! though, what I don't like on this camera is it focus slower and I believe it doesn't have a weather seal. and I hate the flipping LCD

i love this product so much,the camera is really good for taking pictures for different occasions and reasons.

I have tried a few mirrorless cameras and this so far is the best one I have used. Very fast speed.
