The Camera is perfect I was able to use it for a graduation. And for a trip to Mexico. It’s versatile it’s lightweight and at the same time it feels durable

I have had my camera about a month. I am still learning how to use all the features. The things I love are size, battery life, continuous shooting and my favorite thing is I can go from the view finder to the screen automatically. The only disappointment so far is the Wi-Fi feature is a little hard to use, but I think it will be easier as I use it more. I train dogs so the continuous shooting was an absolute must and I don't think I have missed a shot yet. My friend's 14 year old took some pictures, with just about 2 minutes instruction and hers actually are better than most of mine.

Sony - Alpha a6000 Mirrorless Camera with 16-50mm Retractable Lens - Black Great camera but can not do SELFIES. Maybe wait until Sony introduces the a6100.

Very good image quality for the entry-level price. Shooting comes with generous buffer depths. Good battery life with LCD monitor than previous NEX models.

Just started getting into photography, this camera is easy to carry around with me so great for street photography. The images are relatively sharp on the kit lens. Looking to purchase a better lens soon. So far so good!

I had debated several weeks before purchasing this camera since I wasn't sure if this would be good for a beginner like me. It is definitely easy to use and will give you great quality pictures.

Bought this for my son, who wanted to be able to control F-Stop and Speed Settings. The sales rep had great expertise, and pointed out the HUGE differences between this and similar priced cameras. Sony a6000 takes incredible pictures, shoots at 11 frames per second (pretty cool for action shots), and the WIFI connect makes downloading the pictures easy.

I bought this camera as I shoot street portraits and it does not disappoint. Images (with a little post production tweaking) are pin sharp with the kit lens. The kit lens (as a short zoom) shot better than the Sony 50mm fixed lens. But that's it. The A6000 does not produce sharp images throughout the range of lenses I have tested and the zoom lenses are all but useless. Wait - they are useless. Shooting at wider or smaller apertures, better lighting, made no difference with the zoom lens. My 3 year old Canon HS280 ($300) produces better images.

I happened open this after a long time searching my other options. A holiday deal finally drove me to purchase. I wish I had done so sooner. It has great detail, fells great in the hand, and is intuitive to use. All I could want more is some better noise filtering. But other than that, I am completely in love with this camera.

Best camera...love the built in wifi to send my photos to my computer and iphone. Size and weight is the perfect travel camera

Suggest a good Kit lens, Zeiss Similar characteristics as the 16/50 lens for alpha 6000

I bought this camera because the size and the weight as my old one was very heavy. The price is pretty reasonable for the pictures quality and it's really fast. I love it a lot. Now I took more pictures with it than my cell phone.

The camera worked really well for a couple years, but there is an ongoing issue with the shutter that costs more than the camera is currently worth to fix.
