Great camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great little camera. I purchased it for the purpose of recording videos, taking pictures was an added bonus for me. The issue is that the camera can only record for 29 minutes at a time, which I discovered after recording for my YouTube page and discovering that it stopped at the same time in both of my attempts. This didn't work for me but the video quality was amazing. And the photos were amazing quotas well and the added bonus which most cameras do is that I could wirelessly transfer pictures to my phone with the app that has to be downloaded. Overall great camera

I am beginner in this field
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The last camera I bought was a Panasonic Luminox point and shoot. I was going to buy the Nikon 5300 at Sams Club since they offered a good package. I was convinced by a short presentation at Best Buy with the Sony Representative. I have used my camera for all kinds settings and take wonderful pictures. Autofocus is not as fast but I think its my inexperience with the settings. Camera is light small and easy to use. I saw the A5000 and did not like its feel but this one is nice. Does not have microphone cable input. Flash is hidden until push button activation.

Fantastic Camera!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a little skeptical about buying a mirrorless but I thought I would give it a try. I LOVE this camera! It is lightweight, fast, and very user friendly. I will definitely be upgrading to a full frame mirrorless in the near future. I don't think I would go back to a regular DSLR after seeing where the mirrorless technology is.

Great step up from my old point-and-shoot
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to advance from a point-and-shoot to more manual control, but found DSLR to be too bulky. I like that this camera is so lightweight and easy to carry. Takes beautiful photos. As a beginner, I appreciate that when you change your selection, an explanation of what you selected appears on the display screen. Easy to learn and use.

Amazing photos
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is my first DSLR and it has been fantastic so far. The picture quality is great. It is pretty easy to use with the pre-programmed scene selections. I have been using those to get back in the swing of an SLR. The Sony is small enough that i feel comfortable carrying it around, but has all the bells and whistles I was looking for.

Excellent camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent little camera. It's lightweight, a beast in low light and takes crisp clear photos. I found it great for travel, portrait and street photography. Most kit lenses are average at best, but this little 16-50mm is a high quality lens. I mostly shoot with the full frame Sony A7, but I saw this open box A6000 for $100 off retail price, so I decided to take a chance. I took both the A7 and A6000 on my recent trip and found myself going to the 6000 more often because it seemed to capture the street scenes of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Harlem and the Bronx so much more accurate. I highly recommend this camera.

Great Camera
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sony a6000 takes great pictures and video. Do your research and make sure its what you want. I would however look into buying just the lens and pairing it with a 50mm. Kit lens is ok but from reviews and videos ive seen id pair it up with that.

My first Mirrorless Camera, perfect!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this camera. The picture quality is amazing and it is so lightweight. I have a Canon DSLR that I use for my professional work but I use the SONY for everyday pictures of family, friends, and travel. I only gave it 4 stars because I didn't realize you had to plug the camera in to charge and the additional charger and an extra battery set me back another $60 or so on Amazon. Overall, a great introduction to a Mirrorless Camera.

Great second camera
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this camera! I’m biased because I love Sony gear, but this camera was great! My rental camera didn’t make it in time so I bought this as a backup for a wedding and it did a fabulous job.

Love this camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The camera is the perfect size- smaller than a DSLR but just as functional. I wanted the ability to swap out lenses and take a wider variety of shots than with my point and shoot. The camera is intuitive and I have spent many hours playing with the various settings and practicing with a couple different lenses. It is a great addition to my camera collection.

Great Intro Camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.New into photography, and have to admit this is a good camera to start. Chose this over the lower model since it was easier to change the 'triangle' of settings. Mirrorless makes shooting fast, as well as being a small form factor! Lenses are hard to find though compared to full mirror cameras. The sync to phone software is helpful, but is much slower than just plugging the SD card into a computer. Got the camera itself open-boxed for a great price, and for what I paid it was worth the features.
