This is a great camera with an exceptional wide angle lense. I manage rental propertyies and needed a camera to take videos of our available properties. I got this camera because of the wide angle lens and it proved to be super. I even bought a second one for another lady in our office that needs to take interior home pictures.

Good range. easily portable, compact and very easy to carry. Take good quality photos. Just came back from vacation in France and Italy. We have nice photos to look at as a reminder.

I bought this mirrorless camera before a trip to Mykonos, Santorini and Athens. The pictures that resulted were simply stunning. The autofocus is fast and sharp, and the camera performs well with the standard kit lens. I highly recommend the Sony A6000 for beginner and pro photographers alike as a day to day fast, reliable camera.

I've had this camera for about a month and love it. I'm upgrading from a NEX3. The size is perfect for small hands, light weight and takes great pictures. It does have the drawback of an inconvenient placement of the video button and can be hard to activate. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars.

Took this on a two-week European vacation the day after I got it so I had only a short time to learn how to use it. I took over 2,000 photos on the trip! I experimented with some settings part of the time, and other times let it work with "auto" settings. My results were spectacular!!! I could not be happier with this purchase!

Very good for its price. If you save a bit more recommend the 6300 for a slight improvement in quality speed and 4K video. If you don’t need that this old camera still gives new camera a run for there money. It’s also discontinued so get one before they sell out and all that’s left is ebay

Amazing autofocus. It is a great option for anyone coming from a series of DSLRs like myself. The lens options are okay and a bit pricey, but you can find adapters to use DSLR lenses. The pancake lens that is comes with is pretty great. I’ve never seen my other cameras come with that side of a lens and the 2 mm does make a difference. Overall I would definitely recommend.

I recently transitioned from my DSLR Nikon D90 and got myself a mirror less Sony a6000 and I don't regret it one bit. The picture quality is flawless. The style is flawless. The video quality is the best I've dealt with. Especially if it's below the $600 budget for a camera! Bought this camera at $500 when it was on sale. I just had to give it a try and i was satisfied!

This camera is portable. It is not heavy. It also takes great pictures. I love that I can transfer all pictures to my phone instantly. I also enjoy its many features. I like this camera better than my DSLRs especially when I am traveling.

This camera is so small and yet so powerful. The Autofocus is fantastic. The lens selection is just fine considering you can also buy and adapter and put non native lenses on it that way. Video is great - sound is just okay. It would be nice if the lens cap they included could somehow be attached with a string to the lens.

Before using the Sony A6000 camera as a webcam I was using the Logitec Brio. I really liked the Brio, but you need a very modern Mac, 2018 or newer for their software, Logitune. Logitune allows for manual control of exposure, white balance, and zooming in and out. The white balance function is terrible unless it's on auto. This camera makes your skin look great. However, I needed a camera that focused close-up faster and one that didn't make my hair look like it was painted on. It does not pick up on shadow detail very well. I began my search, and I chose the Sony A6000 as the best camera for my needs. I use this camera as a webcam on an 2018 imac using a Delagato camlink. I tried the Sony ZV-1 but could not get a clean HDMI out in Quicktime recorder/player. I do wished it had a flip out screen, but being that as a webcam it's spectacular, I can live with it. This camera is very easy to figure out. I had no trouble figuring out camera settings, etc. It helps to jot down a few notes so you know exactly where a specific frequently used setting is. I make instructional videos and I like that it focuses really fast when I hold something up-close to the camera. In the event anyone's interested, I use Quicktime player to record my videos and use the Rode Wireless II to record my audio. Why? I need to see what I am doing for one and I can clearly see what I'm getting on the imac for two. If anything is not in focus, I can see that. If there are any exposure issues, I can quickly adjust the camera. I also use this camera for Skype video conferencing. There are tons of useful videos on Youtube if you need help with anything, which is nice.

Quality camera, overall auto-focus; works well super compact and superb image quality.

This is the greatest camera I've ever had. Lightweight and shoots pro shots every time!
