Great camera! Took it on my trip to Europe and wasn't sure if it can handle the load. It did very well. I took over 700 pictures and some videos, transfer them onto my Samsung tablet and waalaah! perfect every time. Just have to set it to the right setting. Which is a peace of cake.

So easy to use and takes great pics. The price is reasonable and the camera is compact and easy to tote along. I love the Bluetooth capabilities. I can load to my phone and share pics right away.

I really like the 6000.. it does most of what a DSLR can do but is easier to use and weighs a lot less

Picture quality is very good and I really appreciate the fast auto focus. With my last camera, I often missed the shot while I waited for it to focus. The camera performs well in low light conditions also - it will take several pictures and stitch them together to create one "best" photo. Super-fast burst shooting and great video quality are other bonuses.

This camera is very easy to use and handle. It is very lightweight.

I wasn't a huge sony fan before using this camera. I am a canon guy but the quality of this camera for the price makes it an excellent second camera to have for when you are just going out with friends. The low-light noise performance is what really got me. Would recommend to anyone.

Good to use and good battery life and excellent picture

I love the light weightness of the camera. I have used for softball/baseball, lowlight dance recital, and outdoor portrait photos. I used the sports setting and aperture setting. Eyes sparkle, very sharp. Sports photos very sharp. I used the sony 50-210 mm lens. The only negative comment at this time is the sd card slot is in an awkward spot. It's up against the hinge door. Makes it hard to get in and out. A minor inconvenience. I have only had this camera a couple wks and can't wait to see wheat else it can do in the future.

We are really enjoying this camera. I have used it for still pictures and video and it's great. Easy to use - light weight and more compact than my Nikon D80. I will be buying the zoom lens for this camera soon.

Quality is great! Just sometimes at night it makes your face very pale but I think I need to get used to the settings!

We were looking for a quality camera that fit our budget, lifestyle, and easy use. Hit all the marks and more! We love this camera and highly recommend it. The picture quality is amazing and I love the size and easy use.

This is a great step-up from my Sony point and shoot. While I'm still learning all of the functions, I've taken some great shots of my children's soccer games using shutter priority mode. Auto-focus is fast but is not 100% accurate. 11 frames per second is impressive but know that not all shots will be usable. My kit was paired with the extra zoom lens, 55-210mm. That definitely helps gets the shots from the far touchline. However, many of those pics are noisy. Overall, this is a great upgrade for those wanting to catch sports action.

The Sony A6000 is a mirrorless camera capable of taking photos that rival even high end DSLR. The sensor is the same one used in the much more expensive Nikon D7100. I recommend upgrading to a better lens than the kit lens which comes with the camera. If you are only planning using the kit lens there are better options available which have a fixed lens.

Takes great pictures, even for a beginner and it is easy to use

Lightweight, small frame and very capable. The pictures look great blown up on the computer. It's our first mirrorless camera and Sony but coming from the Canon Rebel T3 we appreciate the smaller camera with better capabilities and results. The wifi is convenient to share pictures with friends from our phones before dumping all the photos on the computer later. Con: the battery doesn't seem to last nearly as long as our Canon Rebel, even with minimal to no wifi use. We took a 5 day trip and came back with <20% battery left.

I had heard this camera was an incredible device and I couldn't be more impressed. I'm not sure if you can take a bad picture in either of the Auto modes! My guess is I will end up running the camera in Auto 80%+ of the time as there's no reason when the unit delivers such perfect pictures. For eveyday life, this is THE camera to have!
