Did so much research on this guy and it is everything i was looking for. Great pictures with some amazing features. The auto focus is great if you want to use it and you cant complain with 11fps shooting. Mirrorless is the future of photography

the camera is amazing .. takes beautiful pictures .. so many gadgets i still have to learn about .. did make a mistake of buying it too soon .. should have waited for black friday .. now i can't return it but its ok .. good investment overall.

I love taking photos and it’s very convenient that I can transfer my photos on the spot to my smartphone. Although, I don’t consider myself a professional photographer, I think it’s a great starter camera for beginners.

If you shooting with that big butt camera then you are behind the times. My small but powerful Alpha 6000 mirror less camera puts those very expensive cameras to shame. The features are incredible. You can go online from your camera and download apps. To use on the camera. Its got everything you need in a camera. I can also use any camera lenses on it. Cannon, Minolta, or any other lens you have. A simple adapter and boom there you go. Its a must have camera. Built in WiFi. Way too many features

This is a really nice camera. There are a lot of different settings in which I’m still learning. The photos and videos are nice. I purchased mine on sale a few weeks ago. The salesmans in Best Buy are very knowledgeable .

this camera exceeded our expectations the pictures are crisp you catch the kids in full movement when they're running I found smiles I didn't see when they are running would buy it again, just saving up for an extra lens to zoom in long distances.

The size and weight and ease of use is a plus. Plenty of options in a small package.

Great for streaming, clear pictures and easy setup. The Sony remote operation software is lacking, but usable. Only complaint is that I use a battery replacement to stream to Twitch (needed for the long video times), and I have to remove/replace it every time I want it to turn on. It could be the adapter though, haven't heard any complaints in that area before.

I made the transition to mirrorless, mainly due to the size of the camera. I find that the A6000 produces nice photos in most lighting. The hybrid focus system gives the traditional DSLR's a run for their money. Most important is, it's fun and easy to use. I highly recommend this camera.

I was skeptical about the reviews I read but bought the a6000 anyway. After a couple of uses and prints, this camera is feature rich, super fast and produces outstanding, quality pics.

It is a convenient change compared to my DSLR. Also, to me, compared to other mirrorless, this is the most economical.

This camera exceeded the picture quality I was looking for. I upgraded from my Nikon d3100, I wanted something more and I found it in this mirroless camera. Saw a bunch of YouTube reviews from professional photographers and made my decision based on several factors. It's smaller, takes beautiful pics, can customize everything on it or use the pre set settings. There are tons of tutorials on line on how to use it and how to maximize its features. This camera offers ALOT more than you know if you are a novice/beginner.

I'm in love. Got it because I wanted great image quality without carrying around my big DSLR camera. It's wifi ready. Now a days with social media that is a great feature to have. You can shoot and upload right away from any smart phone.

I purchased the A6000 as a replacement camera for my older alpha series DSLR. Due to an injury and weight restrictions I can no longer hold the heavier DSLR, The a6000 works for me. It is light and I can go out and take pictures all day without too much strain. The low light capabiolities of this camera have to be seen to be believed, I'm hard to impress but I am impressed. All of the automated shooting modes work well and I can still set the camera for my own manually established settings. The menu system is clear and easy to maneuver. Overall I find it a very acceptable substitue for my larger and heavier full frame sony which I can't use right now due to the weight., Downsides are no ferrols for adding filters ND or polarizing etc. This is a minor niggle but still makes for a change in style of taking pictures. Sony finally went to an industry standard hot show configuration which made all of my old sony flash units not usable. The flash unit that is available is really bare bones but it does work. I would recommend this to anyone who wants very high quality images from a modestly sized camera.

You cannot beat this camera in this or the next higher tier price range. Will best many cameras far more expensive. Excellent features and mirror less is so much better! Sorry Canon and Nikon... Sony has you beat!
