Me and my wife had purchased this camera because we had a baby on the way and now that he is here boy it's worked out great. Very easy to use and has all the options you would ever need I will be finding new features out for years.

After reading and watching tons of reviews about this camera I finally decided to purchase it. So far I have no regrets. It exceeds my expectations, and I haven't put it down.

My wife and I have been through a number of Point and Shoot cameras. By expanding our expected budget a bit, we were introduced to this one and we FINALLY have all the features we are looking for. High speed, quality pictures. We were walked through every detail of the camera in store and we even had a live testimonial of someone who owns the camera that was looking at accessories. He loved it as well.

This is overall a great camera for beginners. Unlike many cameras, this camera shows in the viewfinder what your photo is going to look like as you adjust the ISO, aperture, and shutter speed. Another great feature that this camera has is 'how to guides'. There are many guides explaining how to shoot different things which is great when you are first starting out. The only negatives I have about the camera is the battery life is not that great (I highly recommend purchasing a second or even third battery depending on how much shooting/filming you are going to be doing), and I wish the camera shot in 4K rather than 1080, although the a6300 shoots in 4K so this is not a huge deal. I would recommend this camera to anyone who is looking at getting into photography!

Very nice camera. easy to learn how to work it and get quality pictures.

I love how compact it is and takes great pictures. I took it on a couple backpacking trips and was easy to carrty and use.

I'm a beginner with photography, but this camera is so easy to use, and very portable. My favorite feature is being able to send pictures instantly from the camera to my phone. It's so fast. I'm very happy with this camera!

First, I am not a photography novice but this camera has SO MANY setting combinations and so much capability that I was initially overwhelmed. Small, easy to physically use BUT has a large number of pre-settings (30ish ??) that need fairly extensive photo knowledge to understand, initially set and use during various photo situations. A number of automatic or semiautomatic setup conditions make things a lot easier. Needs more detailed setup and use documentation. By using Internet to read various reviews and setup recommendation I got it going fairly quickly. As I gained experience with camera I found it easier to use and it's size and shape make it much easier to carry in almost any situation. Capable of taking and saving both raw and JPEG making printing images from quick "as shot" JPEG to highly processed "raw" images fairly straightforward. - Extremely capable, small easily carried, TONS of options for trying yet still easy enough for most "fun" excursions. I like it and would buy it again.

I had the a5100 and the lens fell off after two weeks, exchanged it for this one and love it! it’s much sturdier and has a couple better features. The image quality is amazing! absolutely in love with it!

I received this camera for Christmas and it's beyond my hopes. It's great and so nice to be able to get different lenses for this camera. Highly recommend it. Very easy to use.

I have had to read some to learn the camera's functions, but with a little time I have come to love this camera. I cannot wait to learn more. Picture quality is awesome.

Very easy to use, takes great pictures, the auto focus works real well. For all of the features it has, the price was very good.

Really love the camera and the extra macro lens purchased is exellent for close up work. However, Sony needs to chuck its camera download softwear. I finally took the pictures directly from the memory stick and moved on.

I literally went through three cameras before settling on the Sony A6000. Prior to purchasing, I had bought the Nikon 3200 and the Canon T6i. Though both cameras were amazing and able to do what I needed them to, they were way too bulky for my taste. The A6000 is light, portable and packs the same punch as the other two. Definitely a tool to consider.

This camera replaces a digital SLR that I have used for years. Great features in a small package. Used it to shoot a wedding two weeks ago. Great pictures esp outside. This is my second camera in this series- I am a fan!

This is a very simple camera to operate and you can edit the photos right in the camera and then send them wifi to your computer or printer. SONY has another great idea.

This camera is a great compromise between point and shoot and custom photography. The options are bewildering to most but you can do just about whatever you want with this camera. Very well designed and easy to travel with.

The Sony a6000 is a powerful compact camera. It's hard to miss a shot weather you are using manual controls set to your personal preferences or utilizing intelligent auto.
