Great camera and easy to use for beginners. Takes great pictures

It's a great camera that can take DSLR quality photos without the bulkiness. It does take time to learn how to understand and use all of its functions and settings though. I'm still learning how to use them and I discover new features every time. Although it may be a bit complicated, all professional cameras are and you just need to learn how to use them.

This is by far the best camera I have ever had. I've own a Canon Rebel, Olympus point and shoot, and Nikon DSlr and this one combines the compactness and ease of use of a point and shoot with the power and speed of a DSLR. It is expensive but it is worth it. The Sony lens are great but there aren't many choices. Picture quality is as good if not better than my Nikon and Canon DSlr cameras. I now only use this one.

The Sony Alpha 6000 is really good with Autofocus and really shows its features well. But, I have to say that the MR (Memory Recall) is still a blur to me. I still don't get the gist of using it. I LOVE IT WITH A PASSION

This is a great camera! It does everything my Canon 70D does plus more and is smaller and a lot easier to carry around.

My first dslr and love it. Easy to use and takes great pictures

It was skeptical on buying the a5000 or the rebel t6 as they were cheaper, now choosing this one was the best selection I could have made, clear pictures excellent resolution highly recommended, A++

While I haven't used extensively, I've had time to play with it and am very pleased. My first mirror less camera. Much easier to carry on trips than my DSLRs which was my primary reason for considering, but ability to have multiple lenses was key. Being used to Canon, it's been an adjustment to learn settings, but am getting used to it. Nice pics.

I love this camera, it is easy to hold and takes amazing quality pictures. There are a lot of features that I haven't had a chance to use yet but there are YouTube tutorials about the features on what this camera can do

Digital Mirrorless SLR, that is awesome in itself! This camera is quick! Its so fast, that when I used it to take pictures of kid's baseball I could tell that the batter's eyes were closed (in multiple frames) while swinging! I really love the feature that allows me to up load the pictures to my smart phone so I can send them out right away via text or social media. And did you forget about the 24.3 Mega Pixels? I couldn't find another camera with anything higher than 18 MP for the same price! I am very happy with this purchase! Make sure you bundle and get a bigger lens along with the one it comes with!

I owned a DSLR and wanted something different so I did a lot of research and chose this Sony a6000 mirrorless camera. Very fast focus. Note: not a wealth seal, and small battery capacity. Other than that great camera!!

My son had me buy this camera after he did some research of his own. The quality of the pictures are amazing and it is super fast. The features are great as well.

Images are coming out great. The reason I bought the camera was for recreational and some professional use. But the primary reason behind the purchase was the camera's one degree short of full SLR and not being a heavy body camera. At this time, great image taking performance and versatility. The down side is the battery performance. We don't take video but you will need to plan out your day with one battery. With one battery, anticipate less than a day's use. That will change if you purchase a second battery. I can't help but feel that I am tethered to the wall with this camera. The camera gets 4 stars for images but 2 stars for battery performance. Despite the battery challenges, I still love this camera.

This camera is a great piece of equipment. I almost purchased the NEX-6 and saw that this came to my Best Buy store when I decided to make my purchase. It's essentially the same camera as the NEX-6 just with bigger specs. Lots of accessories to choose from and the camera itself is very easy to handle, even with bigger lenses on it. I purchased the bundle with the 50-210mm lens and cannot complain. I'm very happy with my purchase and looking forward to using this camera often.

This camera can take some wonderful photos with the right setting and lens. The camera still takes great photos on the auto setting and the kit lens but it has the ability to amaze with a little experimentation.

Awsome Camera Turn off wifi only use when transferring data so you do not burn through battery life. Set to air plane mode to save battery time check you tube to see clips on settings for extending battery time

No complaints about this purchase. I wanted a quality camera without the bulk of typical DSLR's for use at car shows and this has met or exceeded my needs nicely. Great pictures and video at an affordable price.
