I researched allot during the time and narrowed my search down to mirrorless cameras. At the end I was debating whether to purchase this one or the Sony a5100. I ended up purchasing this one due to online comments mentioning the a6000 was a little higher in picture quality. The only feature I dislike in this one is the screen does not flip 180 degrees like the a5100 does, which is a pretty cool feature when blogging and taking selfies on trips. Video quality is pretty great I would say. I plan on purchasing a better lens to see how much picture quality increases. Overall, it is a great beginner camera for it's value.

While the 16-50mm lens is so so there are plenty of upgrade options available. I love this little camera.

Great Second Camera

In need of a second camera and wanting something small, compact and not as bulky as my DSLR, I went for the Sony. So far I really enjoy the camera and seeing the differences from my Canon. I use an adapter for my lenses so I am able to still use my Canon lenses. Very easy to use, still learning different settings but overall great camera.

It takes quality pictures and has great features. The lense is OK to start with but i quickly upgraded to a large lens for distance. Overall a very nice camera.

For a camera of this quality, it is relatively light-weight, has a retractable lens, and the pictures are of the highest quality - at least for my purposes. I would highly recommend this Camera to anyone who is an avid picture-taker.
