No need for flash, the camera takes great pics at night. So instead of have overexposed pics with people looking like ghost, they come out perfect!

Good for someone who wants great photos but doesn't want to have to lug around a professional type camera.

I bought this camera for my husband and I to take pictures while we travel. The photos that we take have turned out great. The functionality is very easy to use to create nice shots. The only complaint is that most people aren't used to good cameras anymore, so if we ask someone to take a photo of us, they don't know how to take a good photo...

This is a fantastic camera that takes excellent high resolution pictures. After uploading the pictures on my computer I can zoom in on anything super close and it comes out crystal clear it's amazing. The camera also does a great job in automatic mode when choosing the correct scene and dialing in the correct exposure. The focus is also very fast. This camera does everything you want it to and more. The high-definition video is also crystal clear amazing. One recommendation if using as a video camera, get good wireless microphones.

This is one of several cameras that I own. I keep it in my car for that time when I need a camera but don't have one of my pro DSLR's. I am truly amazed at the quality of the camera and the quality of the photos it takes. I highly recommend this camera if you want to get away from your cellphone and have a small, compact high quality camera.

This is a very lightweight camera. i can tell it has great potential, but as a camera newbie, this is not for beginners unless you are willing to spend a good amount of time reading up, watching videos, and experimenting with it. At times, because I don't know how to use it yet, i found that my cell phone took better photos. However, when I got it right, the camera took beautiful shots! I consider this a lifetime investment, so understand it will take time before I know how to use it to its fullest potential

Did a good bit of research before I bought this as gift for my wife as intro to grow with. She absolutely loves it, won't stop talking pictures

My first foray in mirrorless cameras. This is a great buy, excellent features takes incredibly good pictures in both bright and low light environments. Nice and compact even with a zoom lens attached, much smaller and easier to carry everywhere when compared to my DSLR. Another homerun from Sony.

Good one.. i liked it... but it is not a good camera for bird photography because it's complicated to activate the internal zoom: you have to go into the menu and/or assign a button on the camera to use the internal zoom. This is way too time-consuming for bird photography and a huge design mistake. The a5000 has that zoom lever and is much better to use, albeit a less developed camera than the a6000. Overall, Sony doesn't have much to offer for bird photography but I hope they will come up with better lenses and cameras for that purpose.

I'm really satisfied. It is really working well and it's quality is just fantastic!! Every photo I took is nice!! You should buy this one~

Excellent camera from Sony! No wonder it's been out in the market for several years and still rivals many of the latest cameras. It's easy to use, it can be used as a point-and-shoot and with some more advanced lenses that rival and out perform some DSLR's.
