I bought the a5000 for my wife initially since she is just starting but I was convinced at the store to upgrade to this model. I was very impressed with both of them and my wife liked that the a6000 has the viewfinder when it's bright outside. Screen flips up on this one 90° and down a little less for those weird positions when taking pictures which was really neat. Super fast pictures and great resolution. Love Sony products and has many attachments for more advanced users.

I made sure to take my time before making my purchase as this camera would have to meet and exceed all my expectations. The associate was great, very knowledgable and patient. I will continue shopping at this Best Buy/

Super fast shutter, lightweight and easy to carry, was searching for a replacement for an old Canon A1 SLR and an old Minolta for a trip to Europe. This camera was a perfect compromise, bayonet mount and small body, a perfect camera for hiking and sightseeing, portraits and scenery. I found that using view-finder and turning off camera between shots, the battery lasted all day, but I bought a spare to carry as a back-up.

I bought this camera for my family needs. Great camera, best pictures, and reasonable price. Recommend to my friends.

I watched many videos on YouTube regarding this camera and was very excited to be able to purchase. I really Love the wifi . I had been paying for professional pictures for the fam@$100+a pop. Now I have my own professional camera! "The best camera is a camera you have with you"- said someone via YouTube. This camera is small but powerful and I can take it with me without drawing to much attention. So the best camera for me is one I can drag around Chicago without getting mugged!

Lightweight, takes great pictures and is very fast. Huge upgrade, in my opinion, over my old Nikon D3200.

This is the best camera yet for me, a beginner just getting into photography. The size is just right for taking along and the quality of the images are clear.

Sony has some of the best mirrorless systems out right now. Sony has the most technology jam packed in to the 6000 series, especially when comparing autofocus, ISO, and shutter speeds. This camera blows my old Canon T3I out of the water on every aspect. Best thing is you are able to use adapt cheap vintage lenses and take beautiful photos. I chose this camera because in the future I plan on upgrading the body to a newer 6000 series staying with the Sony ecosystem.
