I bought this for my daughter to take pictures on her college trips. The pictures are great! The camera functions just as a DSLR, but faster! Buy the kit with 2 lens, as we did not and now we are purchasing the additional zoom lens.

For a beginner it can be a little complex to get to a the features. But it takes Beautiful pictures the more you get the hang of it.

I absolutely loved this camera, it takes really nice high def pictures and I've captured every single moment with my son. It is perfect.

This is my first camera that isn't point and shoot. It took me a while to get used to the settings but i'm having a lot of fun. The features are amazing and absolutely loved the "raw" shoot setting when I was in Paris. The mirrorless makes it convenient when I try to shoot from a lower angle. I really wish the screen goes all the way up for a 180 degree so I can look at what I am taking a picture of but it doesn't. Other than that, its a really good camera for a starter like me.

I love cameras and I wanted a new DSLR with wifi capabilities and this camera has all of that. Plus it's super light and easy to tote around.

the focus on this camera is insanely fast and shoots 11fps. I've been using it with my Sony 70-200 lens to shoot surfing and I am very satisfied.

I thoroughly enjoy using my Sony A6000; for a relatively low price, you get a premium camera that is capable of shooting HD video and as well as amazing pictures. Skip the DSLR and invest in mirrorless, you'll be glad you did!!
