I wanted to step up my game and I am really impressed with the quality of this camera and the options that have!

Camera is wonderful for those who are starting out or have a little knowledge of DSLR cameras.

Has 4K video, has 120fps shooting for great slow mo. All for under 1k is great. Auto focus is magnificent

I reviewed and read everything - thought about the 7S - but the cost is more than I wanted to pay - and Full Frame isn't always necessary anymore. Having the capability to record video and take pics using faster cards - intrigued me. I still have my E len(s) - so no loss there. The camera is so much smaller that I actually was allowed to take it into the concert. I got incredible pictures using just the 50mm lens. Main reason for purchase is that I will be filming a trip to Ethiopia while on mission. This camera has more picture capturing points - it's already familiar to me. Four stars because I have to go elsewhere to find extra parts for the camera as Sony and/or Best Buy do not have enough equipment to supplement my desires, for instance a microphone, a led flash, extra batteries and charger.

We shoot wedding videos with the sony a7s and needed a light camera for our stabilizer and this has been the BEST purchase!

This camera is very user friendly. It is great for the person starting out with photography. Thumbs up

After reviewing cameras online, I decided on the Sony 6300. It is a great choice for photos as well as video.

This is the best DSLR type Camera, lightweight and way more features than many high end DSLR, I will never go back to DSLR..

This is an amazing camera. 4K video recording is great too! Image quality is top-notch and autofocus is blazing fast.

I did a lot of research before I purchased this camera which was a bundle special but after having it for a week of shooting in my opinion it was not the best for me. I took the hit of the restocking fee but I knew dip inside that this camera was not meeting my expectations when shooting in not so dark situation. I have been shooting with Nikon products for almost a decade and wanted something just to carry everywhere so it didn’t work for me not saying that for someone else might work. We all have preferences and definitely this one was not meant for me. I believe Sony is a great product my recommendation is rent it first so you won’t get hit with the restocking fee if you decide to return it.

I have the a6000 and it is definitely a step up. It is so much worth getting this camera. Highly recommended.
