Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the camera's quality, ease of use, and compact size and weight, making it a convenient option. The camera's 4K capabilities, low light performance, and fast autofocus are also well-received. However, customers are negative about the battery life and overheating issues, especially when shooting video, and some find the menu system difficult to navigate and would like a touch screen.

The Sony a6300 is more, more, more of everything. More robust build, more features and more capabilities. It's still not perfect but it has improved with many new features including 4K video, a new, stronger lens mount, and the ability to shoot in low light.

My sisters bought an DSLR an I bought this mirrorless sony camera, we both started using the camera like crazy but she started complaining a lot about the weight of hers, luckily this one is very light so I love its weight. Picture quality is excellent

Bought this as a primary camera for my photography and videography business. I am extremely pleased with the quality of photos and videos. If you know how, I encourage you to shoot in raw and edit in a program such as Lightroom. The results are stunning. Very pleased with this. One minor thing...I wish the viewscreen would flip around for shooting in front of camera. But not a big enough deal to take away any stars. Highly recommended.

I own two A6000 cameras and was able to pick this 6300 up in an open-box deal. I really like the extras this offers over my 6000s. GREAT CAMERA. I haul this around all over the world- Africa and Central America. I use it for promotional photos for the humanitarian organization I work for. It has never failed to document exactly what I need and how I need the pictures to look. It far exceeds my photography skills but my pictures are the ones that are being used for donor reports and stories. I have an option to take a Nikon D5200 with me on the trips and I did one time. It was like carrying a boulder around. It seemed clunky compared to my little Sony. When I got home, the pictures were not as good. Sorry Nikon, you’ve been sitting the bench since!

I was doing a lot of research online for a new camera for my next trip! I saw many positive reviews for this camera and it didn't disappoint! The 4k video quality is superb! It's easy to use and comes with wireless transfers of your pictures.

This is my first mirrorless camera purchase from my old DSLR and it has not disappointed. Only issue I have with this camera is the overheating it does when shooting long-form videos and the battery sometimes doesn't last too long. Overall a great camera that's lightweight and takes great pictures and videos

This camera has made my photography 10x easier with it's 425 autofocus points. It's brought my videos to a whole new level with it's 4k quality and 120 fps/1080. The body is lightweight which helps when shooting for long periods of time.

I bought this only because A6500 wasn't in stock at the time. However I purchased this for personal use for my own collection as a general purpose - all round camera. I am a regular person with tiny interest in taking good pictures with family/friends/vacations etc. but not interested in becoming a pro. As a standard issue Sony's menu system is not most user friendly one in market. Stock lens adds some amount of smoothness into images along with adding more blue color. No Image stabilization, so you may need to have very steady hand. Good for Portraits, Ok for Landscapes, Not bad for Street, and Bad for sports photography. As I am more inclined towards street photography, so I'll probably switch to 6500 when its in stock. This would be a second choice for me compared to one that has image stabilization.

Coming from Canon to Sony, this A6300 would be suffficient enough to capturing those low light scenes. I've experienced that this camera works well if your one to use the video setting but not so much pictures.

This is nice upgrade from the A6000. To be honest the reason i purchased the camera was to have the 4K video and the microphone plug in. Otherwise I would have stayed with the A6000. But even in the photograghy side the camera is also updated with better autofocus and extra ISO. Now its not a perfect camera but what is by today's standard. Some people have an issue with the size but i think its perfect for travel and with its megapixel count it can crop really well and also has good ISO performance for a crop sensor. Again its not perfect but for the size and price its a great camera.

The pictures I have taken with this camera are amazing. The camera is not heavy. I was able to figure out how to use the camera fairly quickly. There is also a SD slot to expande the storage.
