The Sony A6300 is the best camera under $1000. Great picture quality and superb video capabilities. The only cons are slight overheating, lack of video stabilization and cumbersome menu/button placement. Small issues compared to the overall awesomeness of this camera.

I am just learning photography, but this by far has been fun to use and takes great pictures. Its you look like you have some skills out the box.

Great Camera, it shines in low light. Only reason I gave it 4 start and not 5 was for the lack of touch screen and no Gps or Bluetooth pairing for location information. The top model 6500 has all these features and more. Still a great Camera and takes amazing pictures.

Purchased this for my BF as an upgrade from his Canon Rebel. The Sony shoots amazing photos, very versatile and the compact size makes it easy to carry.

For a beginner, this camera was very easy to use and can be easily carried since it is light and not too heavy compared to DSLR cameras .

The Sony A6300 represents everything I have been waiting for - a small camera that excels in low light situations and also shoots stunning video.

Got it in 2016. It’s an excellent product, easy to use and lightweight so my hands are ok.

The best thing about the a6300, aside from it’s insane picture quality (thanks to the Xmor processor), is that it is exactly as manual or auto as you want it to be. You are free to tweak and adjust every facet of the image capture, or switch it to the newly enhanced auto modes and use it like a point-and-shoot. The body also has incredibly accurate high-iso capture for low-light performance, and some of the best 4K video capture I’ve seen, without jumping up to 2 or 3x the price. Would definitely buy again.

This is a great camera and has more benefits than drawbacks. The only drawback right now is the lack of super zoom lens availability but other than that I’ve been really impressed with the performance and ease of use.

I am very pleased with this camera so far. It is easy to use and has taken some great shots in low light, cloudy and sunny days.

I had spotted an offer for an open box a6300 at the BestBuy nearest me. The camera and lens were in gorgeous shape, and the price could not be beat. I got great help. The whole deal could not have gone more smoothly!

As a novice videographer, I spent quite a bit of research looking for a user friendly camera. The Sony 6300 has incredible quality, a wonderful interface, and is extremey assessable. Would recommend it to a friend.

I went into best buy looking to purchase a 4/3 camera from Olympus. After speaking with an incredibly knowledgeable sales person, I was pointed in the direction of this camera and I am thrilled that I did. Incredibly fast processor and auto-focus. The wifi features are awesome and allow you to connect to the camera with your smartphone and take pictures remotely. This feature is great for using the camera on a tripod and taking family pictures. You can zoom, capture and review pictures from the palm of your hand.

This camera is top-, of the line, &,,,,, it has 4-K, when recording in video which means,,, the Quality of the video is almost like Hollywood !!! Or,,,,, very very close to what Hollywood would use when they record and make movies that's how good this camera can record. But just a warning and it's all good when I say this there is a slight learning curve because it has just so many features to this camera So take your time and really learn the curve and then really enjoy this, as I know I am

Think twice about purchasing this if you have older model computer. I was accustomed to ease of transferring photos from camera to laptop. With the A6300 it is slow even with i7 processor and if you don't have enough RAM and storage you can't view your videos without special software. The wifi feature to transfer to your smartphone is excellent. This is just a real pain to get on your computer quickly. The other pro for this camera is how light weight it is which is very enjoyable I am returning to store today to get some input

Its takes some time to get familiar with all the functions of the camera but don't let that deter you from taking pictures. There are settings that are automatic so that you can start taking great pictures right away. The shutter response is quick and I didn't realize how better it was than a compact point and shoot until I had this camera in hand. Great for beginners and advanced photographers.

the image quality out of this small camera in 4K is astonishing, but make no mistake, this isn't anywhere near ready for prime time. The rolling shutter is brutal, and on longer takes, your camera will likely overheat. If those two issues would be addressed, the AF speed alone would make this a great b-camera for small budget productions.

It is a great compact 4K camera with view finder, easy to use, lots of good functions, reasonable price, easy to carry around.
