It's aGreat camera easy to use and my wife loves it

I like this camera because I shoot on the go. I ride motorcycles and I love that it has a fast shutter speed for action shots.

If you are looking to shoot long form with this camera in 4K, do not buy this camera. It will overheat within 10 minutes or so, which is absolutely unacceptable when shooting and it will shut off automatically.

Poor manual, need to know DSLR or take class to learn camera. So far seems good. Got it for travel, smaller dslr

Not as good as digital 35mm cameras, although smaller, Just use iPhone for travel is fine

This is seriously one awesome camera. If you are looking for a powerhouse camera that does 4K, shoots amazing photos, mirrorless, and is compact - look no further, this is the best mirrorless camera on the market right now.

Heavier than wanted, should not have ordered before trying (store didn't have in stock). Zoom not strong enough, LED goes black during shooting picture.

I have been excited about this camera since I heard about it. The biggest thing being talked about is the 4K. I must say it's spectacular, but it has a downside. ROLLING SHUTTER. It is the worst I have ever witnessed, and was enough to bring my score to 3 stars. Of course it can be worked around, but coming from a Canon Camera (EOS 60D-an oldie) I never had to worry about that when shooting video. I have only been using it a few days, so I haven't given up on it yet. Still, if you plan on purchasing this for video it is something you MUST consider. If you plan on simply taking static shots on a tripod, or minor pans, then you might be fine. I have been able to fix most of it in post, but that adds another step. Honestly, I would have rather had a 2K camera if it meant less to no rolling shutter problems. Still, at this price point you won't find another 4K camera with such a great image. Just know it is a problem you will have to deal with. Truthfully aside from that it is an amazing piece of electronic equipment. I guess Sony can't give us everything at this price point.

Wow the a6300 has blown my mind. Its crazy how good the still and video quality is. The autofocus system is the fastest in the world and has over 400 detection points. But listen carefully to my one piece of advice. DO NOT judge the performance of this camera while using the kit lens. The included 16-50mm doesn't nearly do the genius sensor in the a6300 justice. Its ok for making a few quick stills and getting familiar with the camera BUT if you want to really use the a6300 to its full potential. I bought the E18-200mm F3.5-6.6 OSS LE lensed WOW what a difference. If this sony lens is this good I can't imagine what the camera can do with the premium Zeiss lens. For me, the sony lens i bought is more than adequate and I got it for $745 on sale at best buy. The APS-C sensor is new for the a6300 and it is just incredible. I totally recommend this camera. I came to this product from a large and heavy Canon 50D. The a6300 not only blows the Canon out of the water in every category, but its SO much lighter and smaller.
