Great camera easy to use the amazing images quality is outstanding

I've shot Canon for years upon years. Shooting long days I would always end up with horrible hand fatigue from carrying my heavy DSLRs. So far I've been very happy with the Sony. Smaller, but still packs the same punch that my Canons do!

Bought this camera for personal use, not for business. But I love the photos it produces. Solid feel to the body, great weight. Just all around enjoy taking high quality pictures and videos with this camera

Still learning how to use it, but extremely impressed. Easier to use than my Nikon D90 and lighter. Great camera for serious amateur photographer! Potential for some really really awesome pictures!

Coming from Pentax DSLR I find this comfortable to use with excellent low light performance. Autofocus is not the speediest but it is excellent for manual focus mode with a good viewfinder and focusing aids. Having a spare battery on hand is a good idea as the life is not great. Overall a keeper

Great frameless camera! Easier to use than other mirrorless brands. Not great for video and battery doesn’t last long at all, but that’s to be expected I suppose.

Anything you need can be looked up on the sony page, you can learn about every feature on the camera, beautiful pictures and very user friendly for an intermediate learner.

In camera image stabilization works very well, impressive results at 1/4 shutter speed, hand held with the pkg 28-70mm lense. I was able to effectively use canon legacy FD lenses, with manual focus, using a Fotasy FD-A7ii adapter. Not very certain if the image stabilization works with the legacy glass, but got very sharp images with canon 50mm 1.4 at 1/10 speed and 5.6 aperture, indoors filtered light.

Great camera for photo and video. Low lasting battery life though. Would recommend an external duel battery pack for long shoots.

If you want a lightweight full frame camera this camera is a good choice. The image stabilization and fast autofocus are great features. Battery life sucks compared to my DSLR but batteries are relatively cheap so get several, get an external charger too. Extra lenses are expensive and ps why I gave it a 4.

I know this camera is a couple of years old now but the quality is still great for the price. I got the combo lens kit model. The 50mm Prime lens is great! I can't wait to start taking more photos with this camera. My A6100 is still holding strong.

Previously had an a7 and recently went to the a7 II which was from the best camera to an even better one. As an lowly poor (and old) photographer, the built-in anti-roll and stabilization feature makes my pictures look like a professional took them. Where the telephoto was previously shaken, neither is it now stirred. Crisp and sharp pictures with good depth of field. Truly a great investment.

Great camera for photographers looking for flexibility. Great for low light scenarios. Very detailed pictures and little interference.

I bought this camera to shoot vide mostly and I am not disappointed. It shoots excellent quality video and stills especially in low light and is half the cost of similar brands.

I love my new camera though it has been almost 5 years since it got released but the quality is still at its best. Its easy to used and not complicated.

I love this camera. For the price I’m very very happy with it. I do need to figure out the focusing a little as I can’t get it to do the tricks I did with my Canon but that’s a me thing. The camera is very good entry full frame

The camera is great! Pictures are crisp and most of the time in focus, specially after you set it up right. The battery life is not good! I come from a DSLR and the battery on the A7II leaves a lot to be desired. But 1 or 2 extra batteries and make sure they are Sony, aftermarket ones last even less than Sony

First full frame camera I purchased. Was looking at DSLR at first but the size of the Sony mirrorless is just so compact and easy to travel with. I have to say, unless you are strapped with cash, buying a full frame camera and not using it for profit is a lot much and unnecessary. The only time you want to go Full Frame is when you want to blow up a picture for big size canvas or more, most APS-C camera will do just fine for hobbyist; buying any Full frame lens are so expensive compared to APS-C lens. With that being said, I do love this camera! The mark ii edition of this camera has 5 axis in camera stabilization and the phase detection makes continuous focusing a lot easier to capture images with moving objects compared to the first edition. Other than that, theres a slightly different body design also, but the megapixel and video capability are the same as the first edition. A7Rii is obviously the macdaddy of Sony line up right now, but its twice the price. I wish the screen would flip all the way up for selfie mode/vlogging style recording. Other than that, no complains. Get the 35mm or 55mm Sony lens and it really brings the best out of the images.
