Blown away by the images from this sensor. You get full frame capability, body stabilization and great low light capabilities. Glad I pulled the trigger on this one.

I was looking for a camera that provided all of the functionality of my Canon DSLR, had a smaller footprint that the DSLR, and had a significantly higher MP capability (full frame). The Sony A7 ii a perfect fit.

I love the pictures I took with this camera, The color is the incredible and good focus and easy to operate, even though the camera is a bit heavy for my small hands.

This camera takes great pictures and is fairly easy to use for a beginner. There are, though, lots of options if you know what you're doing. Would definitely recommend it

This camera is a great addition to the Sony A7 line-up adding in body image stabilization and fixing issues that existed in A7 (mount strength) and A7R (no electronic first curtain). It is a bit heavier and thicker than the A7 and A7R but worth it if you are buying as a Nikon or Canon DSLR replacement

I'm not a professional photographer. My wife has iPhone 11 Pro and I have Samsung Galaxy S20+. Both these phone cameras do well. The most annoying thing is trying to photograph my 4 yr old. She never stands still. Her photos are always blurry. This Sony A7 II is superb. All pictures comes in sharp. I have full control on which to focus. This is better than my older SLR (Canon rebel). The OLED viewfinder is great. I enjoy snapping pictures. For some, the picture looks better than the naked eye. I'm happy with this purchase.

This camera was recommended by a friend who is a photographer. It's my first camera of this type and I am just getting familiar with it. So far it is pretty easy to use and I am in the process of purchasing another lense for it to be able to zoom more than 70mm.

For an enthusiast, this camera opens so many possibilities. I got this camera during a sale, $600 off the purchasing price, and I have really fallen in love with it. The user interface is quite easy to work around after about a week or so of constant use. The image quality is actually insane compared to the d3200 and d5100’s from Nikon I had purchased years back. Pair this camera with Sony’s 50mm F1.8 FE lens, and you’re in for a real treat. Be careful with this newfound power.

My first full frame purchase, and it was a real struggle deciding between DSLR vs. mirrorless. The compact nature, plus the adaptability of any lens for the body are great pros. I have captured some truly great photos with this camera, but the technology and new dials and menus definitely take some time to get used to.

Picked this up when it was on sale. 1st full frame camera and it does not disappoint! Controls are similar to my Nex6 so learning curve was a no brainer. Im a novice photographer and take pictures for fun. One thing to mention is the weight of the camera was comparable to some of my previous DSLR's (especially when adding the Sony battery grip. Very solid feeling and comfortable in the hand. Battery life is OK, but when shooting all day make sure to have extra batteries. My Nex6 is pretty old and it keeps going so Im pretty confident in Sony products.

Though it looks outdated compared to offerings out there, this camera is great. I got an EOS R after returning this to only find that expensive stuff is not always great. Loved this camera. Also, would love to return my EOS R and get this back ( if I can )

Purchased after a previous camera was brought on a boat and didn’t survive. Good quality, all the auto features seem to work really well. But the battery life is very bad with just the stock battery it comes with.

Best all around camera I’ve ever had! It’s tiny but mighty! It’s actually not as small as I thought it’d be. Sharp pictures and smooth operation!
