Very good camera. It’s works awesome, easy to use, full frame ,very good price, just awesome!!

I was looking for a DSLR for travel, since it was tedious carrying around my larger DSLR's. This camera takes amazing photos, is much more portable than others, and the built-in image stabilization is an awesome feature. Slap in a 256 SD card (>$100), and you are good to go! There was an instance where a professional photographer was going around taking photos for people on our recent cruise, and when he saw the A7ii, he commented that he wished he had one. **One thing to note though, and that is that the screen on this camera is pretty easy to scratch... I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you get a screen protector for this. It is an insignificant cost to protect your $2k camera.

Great camera for those like me getting into photography. Easy to manipulate, program, and shoot. Great deal for a full frame camera that gives professional quality.

I have had this camera for a year now and it has been a great experience so far. pros: weather sealed - I have use it in the beach, when It is raining, and around a pool. just have to be careful that your lenses are weather sealed too, and that while it's weather sealed it's not waterproof so take precautions. Great for photos and videos. easy to use. cons - expensive lenses

I am still getting used to this but for the price on sale even though this kodel is eight years old, its still very impressive with its features. The feel of holding the camera is very pleasant to hold and take shots. The photography image quality is amazing and takes great photos in low light settings. Definitely has a learning curve to get used to when shooting in different settings but not too hard to adjust too. My only downside is the battery life quality but with a portablr power bank i can easily charge in-between shoots.

The Sony Alpha 7 ii was on sale for 999.99. For this price it is a unbeatable full frame camera with features I have yet to try. The photo quality is excellent even with the kit lens. Depending on the type of shooting you are doing you may want to consider the newer model,Alpha 7 iii as it has more features making it faster for batch shooting

Coming from a Canon background, I was nervous about moving over to Sony. I am happy to say I have no regrets. The image quality is amazing. Even with the kit lens, the images are sharp. With OSS and really well controlled noise at high ISOs, having a super fast lens is not an absolute necessity. That said, I also purchased the Zeiss 55mm f1.8 and love it. Yes, the battery does not last very long. I ordered an extra battery and charger (Sony brand, which was expensive). The ergonomics and interface of the camera are nowhere near as good as my old Canon 7d, but the size/weight/image quality tradeoffs are well worth it.

This camera is great and not too small/not too large as far as ergonomics go. Really great looking design as well. Easily navigated controls and takes fantastic photos. I take it with me everywhere, I wish the battery life was a bit longer though. That's probably my only complaint. I purchased an extra battery (not cheap) for it because the charge goes quite quickly. Other than that, extremely happy with it. Excited to try out new lenses with it and explore the versatility that would allow. I've been using it, in addition to my Canon 70D, for portraits, etc. mainly. I love that the Sony is full-frame since my Canon is not. Haven't purchased an adaptor for the Canon lenses, but like that I have the option.

Love my new camera, easy to learn to use. Takes great pictures. Looking forward to using it on vacation next year. Should have bought a Sony sooner.

So many people knock on mirorless cameras for a supposed poor battery life, but I would sacrifice battery for built in stabilization, speed, and size any day. This was my first full frame camera purchase, and I love that I can still use my APS-C Sony lenses on it (of course with crop factor). This way I can hold off on a FF zoom lens or the 55mm Zeiss that is calling my name.

This camera is still fairly new to me, but so far I can say that I truly love it! I have been shooting Nikon for years, but after some research, I decided to purchase. This is a new system to me, but has been easy to learn this far. I love the focus assist feature, the eye focus feature, and the auto ISO feature. I’m sure I’ll keep adding to the list of pros as I use it more. The main con is of course the battery life. I purchased 2 extra batteries that I carry with me at all times, and an external charger, because I’m not too keen on the idea of having to plug my camera into the wall to charge it. Although... I am interested to see if I can charge with an external power bank, or even use the power bank for extra long exposure shots like star trails, etc. the size of the camera is a nice change from the Nikon setup I have been using. The weight is perfect, and I’m able to pack both the kit lens and a 50mm with the 2 batteries and the charger into a holster type day bag. Great camera, especially being full frame to be able to carry without a lot of weight. The only other thing I can say I wish it had is dual memory card slots. Other than that, so far I’m completely satisfied with my purchase, and I think it’s well worth the money. I haven’t picked up my Nikon since buying this!

Incredible value, camera takes amazing photos. A professional grade camera that's very easy to use, I went from the Sony a6000 to this and I couldn't be happier.

There are a number of cameras in this price-point from Nikon (Z6II), Canon (R6II), Panasonic (S5II / IIX) and the Sony is a bit higher than all of them. Typical Sony AF, which is stellar, but everything else felt just average. After a disappointing experience I returned and opted for the Panasonic S5IIX, for $200 less (retail price). Video much better, photos too. The AF isnt quite as Sony, but 90% as-good. Overall I feel Sony has lost a step. They have too many camera options and are priced about 15-20% above where they belong. I would take the R6II over the A7IV, and recommend the Panasonic S5Ii ($2,299) or S5IIX ($2,499 and extra video festures) for a better experience and value for money. I currently own a sony NEX 5T, sony a6000 and now the a7ii. I really enjoy the improved low light performance. Never really liked getting past 1600 iso on the a6000, but I've gotten really good results even at 3200. The kit lens is okay and while the sony f lenses will work with the a7ii, just realize you are now working with about a 10 megapixel camera since you won't be using the whole sensor. Time to build up my lens collection. (But sony lenses are not the cheapest) I do a lot of my work using adapters and old glass in manual mode. The IBIS really helps. I use a canon ef 75-300 lens for birding. IBIS can be adjusted to the focal length. If you like continuous shooting, keep in mind also that the a6000 will do about 11 frames per second. This can only do about 5. Different cameras for different uses, but both are still excellent tools. I keep both in my bag which saves me from changing lenses all the time. The a7ii is a little heftier, but have no problems taking even both of them on long hikes.

Bought the camera for mainly product photagraphy and its doing great. Read about the battery life so invested in a battery grip and an extra battery . So far its perfect for my needs!

This Sony Full Frame camera is very easy to use and has a full set of features. I typically use the advanced features of A, S, P, or Manual Modes. All modes are very easy to set and use. I previously had a Nikon P5200 and wanted to upgrade to a full frame camera with quality image results and I was not disappointed. Menu's are easy to use intuitive.

I bought this to upgrade from a standard point and shoot knowing it was way more camera than I could handle. Instead, I took to it like a fish in water. Its layout and design are perfect for beginners and the images it takes rival most experience photographers. Pair this with a few classes and you'll be addicted and taking great pictures.
