Being a Nikon owner I was curious as to what Sony would offer. From the first time I used it I enjoy shooting with it. I bought an extra 50mm f/1.8. The clarity was exceptional. The controls were fairly easy to grasp and I like the how the view finder works more than my Nikon. The only bad part is the battery life suckssssssssssss. But with that viewfinder it's to be expected. For the size it feels solid.

Sharp, clean pictures. Use friendly. Awesome wifi I wish it had touchscreen, but u can't change that, so this camera is amazing.

we purchased the camera last year after finding out our current cameras were not providing high enough quality images for us to print and put up in our home. We take this camera everywhere. We also have blown up the photos to 2' x3' canvas sized images for our sons play room. We had to return our first camera after about 2-3 weeks because there was an issue with the image processor, the images would continuously come out blurry, screen would go white etc... Best Buy was great and said - this type of thing happens in the production line, nothing you did would have caused this. They asked if I wanted the same camera - and I said of course. I appreciate how best buy is separating themselves with customer service vs online stores. Because of the service I received and help when i exchanged my camera, I have returned to best buy for more purchases.

I've been shooting film for a while and decided to transition to digital with the A7ii, since it works with vintage glass using the right adapters. I've been nothing but pleased with this camera since I got it out of the box. The in-body stabilization is phenomenal - I can get crisp shots way below 1/60. Compared to other DSLRs I've had the privilege of using, this one feels better in my hands, and all the controls are exactly where they feel like they should be.

THIS CAMERA IS THE BEST CAMERA OUT THERE. IT IS MY LIFE! The quality is unreal, it captures color, people perfectly. Honestly don’t want to diss on canon but if you’re looking for great quality this is it, battery last 4-6hrs. Only downside would be the viewfinder because you can’t flip to where you can see yourself, but overall 9.5/10. SUPER HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE! (Very underrated)

This is a very hearty camera that does the job and then some!! I bought it because I LOVE the Sony Alpha series cameras and wanted a back up camera to use for my small photo/media business. I have been using this camera A LOT for my photo shoots. It is easy to use (if you are familiar with Sony Alphas) and takes excellent photos. I would recommend this camera wholeheartedly!!

I have been a Canon guy all my life and decided to get into Sony cameras. Didn't want to go with the lastest model as they are very pricy but decided to go with an older model. I must say no regrets and i am sold. Great camera!

Just recently bought this for a very photogenic family member and she loves it. Easy to use and was very interested in the cameras ability to send pictures directly to smartphone.

My first mirrorless and my first Sony camera! Light weight and easy to use!

The mirrorless full frame small form factor is tomorrows technology today. The main purpose for my selection was the ability to utilize my legacy manual focus Zeiss glass with the addition of an adaptor. This puts everything back in the game. The technology, the output, the ease of use and the small form factor are value add and best of breed. Buy this one, you'll be pleased. Warning, this is not an entry level camera and is intermediate professional in all aspects.

My photography needs are very basic as I shoot portraits and the occasional landscape on a like and for a camera it’s age it’s still a really good choice if you are looking to upgrade from a crop like a a6000. It’s great in lowlight, autofocus is fast, eye autofocus is awesome. I’m loving this camera so far.

People will tell you the A7r is what you want, or to buy the iii. If you have the means, why not. I was a Canon guy right up to the point I bought this camera. You’re not going to be disappointed for not buying the absolute top of the line. This one here is fantastic. It has its quirks, others have already identified. I’m not going to complain about the same things. Still give 5 stars. Still recommend.
