Solid step up in quality

I really wanted the Sony a7 III but for a hobbyist I couldn't justify an additional $1000. This has worked very well but the battery life is much shorter than my DSLR, which I was prepared for, and bought an extra battery. Should have skipped the lens pack and saved a few dollars, we upgraded immediately.

Sony a7ii

The Sony a7ii gave me almost everything I was looking for with out having to spend $3,000 in a Canon. Glad I made the switch. Don't get me wrong though I still have my Canon 80D and still use it.

It takes awesome photos and it's very versatile. At first I wasn't a fan of the Sony app but once u pass the learning curve it's like riding a bike.

Couldn't have made a better decision. It's features are also more advanced and the mirrorless shot previews are astounding. Highly recommend.

Amazing camera

I was able to get a great deal by buying the item open box which was basically brand new. I highly recommend this camera if you want something that works great in low light. Buy it. Seriously. It's not that expensive either. So buy it. Like now.

I had always used Canon products in the past, but this camera turned out to be a great investment.

Its lacking continuous Eye AF but has single shot Eye AF. Great sensor. Sharp images. If you can do without continuous eye af, its great. If not... you should look at the a7iii.

It has all the features I can afford and still churns out quality video and photos. It’s a hefty camera, but not as heavy as some other brands. The size is also right for me. Using it for short video work.

For the price, you are getting excellent value. I am so glad I went with mirrorless over a bulky dslr. I upgraded lenses from the kit lens. I would definitely recommend doing the same.

So far i don’t regret going with this and the money i invested in it was well worth it!
